Thank you. That is really helpful. It makes sense in that her Virgo stellium falls in the 6th house. She has Venus, Jupiter and Neptune in the 8th house of other people’s money, Saturn in the 2nd and Uranus in the 7th. It also means her Sun / Moon square is tighter and her real Neptune transit fall is still to come.
Urgh. Crypto and bank failures and doddfrank. I have been mulling over a pisces 8th house (always) in us election charts bec in 3024 something like a bubble focuses on the apex Neptune. Saturn trine the sun means status quo but why? Oh well Saturn just moved into pisces, so the sloshing around of corporate.money that has characterized elections for some time has come home to roost.

Re you can’t divide…thanks. nice and clear. A few graduate study years in Greek and Latin inoculated me vs Hellenistic syncretistic wild and crazy spirituality…yet I am still enamoured of the astrologer dee. To each their own for fun time, but for practical astrology obviously Hellenistic society and literature aren’t a good match except that the Greek elites were rolling in it and gallivanted around intellectually and via travel, so they probably were willing to pay for any kind of new age nonsense. Think LA.

Trying not to post but so many articles! Re dixville notch, it began in 1960 when HA & AK first voted. Polls close at 7pm there, corresponding to midnight following election day on the East coast. using DC gives a chart sim to the notch one — my strength is seeing the passion play symbolism of the chart as indicative of the electorates state of mind plus hxcal factors, so this works for me. Its ugly to think that a few old white people in NH represent my country, this from a proud pragmatic and cautious new englander. I trust CR to figure out the contest results so I don’t know which chart is more accurate. In 2016 the moon applied to Neptune in the 7th and I wept for days along with half of the population of the USA.

Um, here is Saturn re incumbency. 23 incumbent wins including 8 party only. Of these Saturn aspects the sun 8x pres. 1904 1916 1924 1936t 1940t 1944t 1984 2012, party only 1856 1876. Otherwise saturn is elevated or rising or on the drscendant or aspecting Jupiter elevated or rising xcept 1864 1900 1956. In 2006 Neptune was on the descendant. Elections where the incumbent lost but Saturn was strong, 1848 1852 1888 1976 1992. Help on statistical importance pls? Is it good enough to hedge 2024 bet?
I think you have to look at each chart on its own rather than try and find a feature that always works. Many people assumed Trump would fail in 2016 because Saturn was conjunct his 4th house Moon, but along with all the other stuff it just meant he was taking on a greater level of responsibility and moving into a smaller house.

Re the next four years — waited for these two articles, and still reading but just requesting a quick redo on the 1789 chart please pretty please — the inauguration was always held on Match 4th until sometime in the 1930s, due to no snowplows. Randomly, the 1789 inauguration also marked the beginning of the new Congress and the first year in which the Constitution came into effect (which for the rule of law here is crucial).

I have looked up Idina Menzel, I didn’t realise she is a modern day superstar, both on stage and the screen. No doubt she has an astrologer, her birth time is not public knowledge. I wonder if she will make use of the publicity for the film version of Wicked. She is not involved in this but is seen as defining the role on stage. She has yet to become a successful recording artist.

Bach again, so happy you have been thinking about asian dramas. I have been watching Kdrama for a few years and as learning practice looking at actors charts to learn more about predictors for success.
I think what I see may be more influenced by working conditions in seoul rather than universal principles except the obvious — true stars have grand trines and tsquares galore, the working actors(resses) often have chains of sextiles, neptune oppositions/conjunctions to the lights…
but since in SK there is a synergy between kpop and kdrama, that 1990s neptune-uranus conjunction shows up often as the center of a “minor grandtrine”, and since the competition and insane working hours make their life so hard, saturn is almost always involved in larger patterns and earth grandtrines are most common even for romantic leads.

Have been looking off and on at saturn-neptune conjunctions wondering if they related to art history periodizations or mass health problems, but the only good corollary was/were postwar medical advanced…did you see the study on PTSD after the nova attack and mdma? A possible (with careful clinical modifications for professional use in treating trauma. That would fit the Aries zero degree conjunction next year, breakthroughs in the treatment of mental health. Hi CR — re your dictum that transits happen to people, here’s a possibility — remember 1971, the Seeker’s transit (I started studying astrology, you?). Just looked up Marco Rubio, now in possession of three other jobs in addition to being secretary of state. His Sun is conjunct the saturn end of an opposition to jupiterc.neptune. Since his Gtrine is sun-mars-pluto, here is hoping that uranus passing over his sun will bring about the downfall of his boss.

I started studying astrology in 1974. As there is no birthtime for Rubio, it’s difficult to know how his Uranus transit will play out. It will take him onto a different life track for sure, but what that is who can say?
Hi CR — It used to be three score and ten and most people died in their 70’s. Now we all face our Neptune and Pluto half-returns as we live longer (at least those of us who have not lived in war zones or famine-ridden areas); for those of us born under the hundred year sextile of Neptune and Pluto these occur simultaneously in our 80’s along with the full Uranus Return.
My own parents, saintly sprigs from small-town US of A, died in their 90’s when their saturn returns coincided with their Pluto Half-Returns. One of the Emanuels, Dr. Ezekiel, once opined on TV (!) that he would be happy to pass on at 85, as that was the last year on average that one’s health would remain relatively good, and they probably would have agreed.
My own generation of US Boomers are wrinkling up on the vine and regularly dropping into the figurative dust in their 80’s despite modern medicine.
For those born in 45, the three outer planets are being exactly transitted as we speak situation will occur (Uranus in Gemini, Neptune/Pluto in Libra/Leo by Neptune/Pluto in Aries/Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini.
For my year, 54, since Uranus then swung into aspect with Neptune, the same situation will occur — all three transits in one 80th birthday year, 2034.
Oh well, if we make it through, at least Saturn holds off for a few years until we have to contemplate life as a whole.
