It’s very important to recognise that not all soulmates are the same.

But they all play a massively significant role in your karmic themes this time round.

Some will indeed awaken you from your sleeping beauty slumber and carry you off on their horse to a life of happily ever after.

However some might arrive to destroy your career and make you a laughing stock for the rest of your life.

It probably depends on your own Mars / Venus combination.

Whenever there’s a political scandal you can assume that Neptune plays a significant role. The planet often has a say in the thing itself but is always heavily involved in the resulting cover up.

What type of scandal will probably depend on which planet is involved.

Richard Nixon’s Sun was opposite Neptune in the 11th so straightforward political manipulation.

Donald Trump has Mercury square Neptune so endless lies about everything.

Bill Clinton’s scandal was a sexual one, hence Neptune’s conjunction with Mars, Venus and Ascendant in Libra.

Venus can only be 48 degrees away from the Sun, so there is only one aspect possible between the two apart from the conjunction.

This is the difficult semi square. Clinton has it exact ( orb of 11 minutes ).

From the perspective of progressions this has two interesting points.

The first is that there will be no Sun / Venus progression until middle age.

The second is that the conjunction of one will fall very closely to the square of the other.

This was certainly the case for Bill Clinton because nothing happened between these two until he was in his mid forties.

Then his progressed Sun reached a conjunction with his natal Venus in 1992 when he was elected President.

And his progressed Venus formed a square with his natal Sun between 1995 and 98 for the Monica Lewinsky affair.

This fact on its own would be the perfect proof of the power of secondary progressions.

During his first 40 years, Bill Clinton’s progressed Sun only made two major aspects, trine his Moon and square to Uranus.

These occurred between 1971 and 73 when he met and started his relationship with Hillary.

Intriguingly Hillary Clinton had almost identical progressions for the same period.

Her progressed Sun was trine her Moon and quincunx Uranus.

A Sun / Moon progression would indicate a true life partner and the Uranus one, a political colleague.

Unlike Bill’s 45 degrees, Hillary’s Sun / Venus distance was just 14.

Hillary Clinton was politically active in her early teens and it’s possible that she did meet someone who had a profound influence on her life, but I haven’t been able to find it documented.

The one connection that she did have was her progressed Venus square to her Sun ( Bill’s Monica moment ) when she became Barack Obama’s Secretary of State in 2009.

What about Monica ? Did she have a progressed Bill moment ?

In spite of the 27 year age difference, it’s fascinating to see the similar patterns between Monica and Bill’s charts.

Both have Leo Suns in square to Taurus Moons. Both have Libra rising with Mars aspecting it.

Monica Lewinsky has Mars in Aries in the 7th house closely opposite Uranus focusing by T Square onto an apex retrograde Mercury in the 10th house.

Its pretty clear from this what her main life themes are.

A relationship with a very powerful man which cause massive disruption in her personal life and career.

Mars in Monica’s chart is clearly Bill.

This is just as clearly picked out by progressions.

And they totally reflect Bill’s Venus ones.

Monica’s progressed Mars was square her Sun between 1993 and 97 when her affair with Clinton occurred.

So Monica was Bill’s Venusian soulmate and Bill was Monica’s Martian one.

Did Monica have a Venusian one of her own ?

Its difficult to tell because since the Clinton experience she has remained extremely tight lipped about any other dalliances, but looking at her astrology its fairly clear that she met her true soulmate between 1999 and 2003.

She had progressed Sun conjunct Venus and progressed Venus sextile Sun in that period.

When we look at the charts involved we can clearly see what each soul’s role was in the other’s life.

Monica was meant to serve up a Neptunian experience for Bill.

Bill was there to deliver a Uranian one for Monica.

Neptune in Bill’s chart is closely conjunct the Ascendant, as is Uranus in Monica’s.

These are vitally important themes that have come to dominate both their own lives.

The only Venus / Sun progression of Bill’s life and the only Mars / Sun progression of Monica’s brought them both together at the same time.

There is no such thing as coincidence.

In case you were wondering, Hillary Clinton’s progression for her own failed Presidential campaign in 2016 was P Sun square to Neptune.

If we compare that to Donald Trump’s Progressed Sun conjunct his Ascendant its clear that all the astrologers predicting her victory do not use progressions.

But they obviously don’t use transits either.

Maybe its some kind of Zodiacal Releasing thing.

If you base your predictions on profections rather than progressions, there’s definitely no cigar for you. Probably no sexual relations either.
