It is extremely ironic that the vast majority of people who bang on about “ God’s plan “ have absolutely no conception of what that plan actually is.
They also, despite their protestations to the contrary, do not believe in God.
In fact they believe solely in their own plan and are such supreme egotists as to assume that any God would just go along with that.
There is no one chart in existence that exemplifies this type of person better than that of Scott Morrison the happy clappy, god bothering former Australian Prime Minister.
It’s very difficult having a Sun / Moon opposition. If the two main character indicators in a chart are pulling in opposite directions it can create a split personality.
It would certainly take a lot of integrating in a world where everyone wants to pigeon hole everyone else as one definite type.
Its hard to acknowledge two such different parts of ourselves so what most people try and do is identify with one part and project the other onto the people and the world around them.
As the Sun is our individuality and the Moon our feelings and reactions to others, it’s likely that they will identify with the former and project the latter.
There’s two signs that are basically content with the way things are and see no need to examine them – Leo and Taurus.
As with everything else in astrology so much depends on the aspects that these placements receive, but if left untroubled this is the essential nature of these two signs.
A Taurus Sun comes with a certain stability, a security that the ground beneath their feet and the environment they find themselves in will always support them and if Venus is there too, they will happily enjoy the fruits that they have received from the Earth.
A Scorpio Moon, however, is the complete opposite. There’s no solid ground here, more a bottomless pond full of all kinds of frighteningly intense passions and emotions and demons that could overpower you and drag you down with them if allowed to emerge into the light of day.
Of all the Sun / Moon oppositions, the Taurus / Scorpio one is the most polarising.
The Sun in Taurus opposite a Moon / Neptune conjunction in Scorpio in the 9th house describes a drive to lead a life of physical and material comfort whilst adopting a religious construct that sends everyone else to hell.
This combo leads Scott Morrison to conflate the edicts of the almighty with his own dark, money grubbing self interest and its T square to an apex Jupiter in Leo would lead him to confidently assert this scummy view of the world as his god’s own plan.
This pattern, more than any other I can think of conjures images of someone who believes he is a noble emperor fighting against the dark side.
Its fascinating that Morrison’s Taurean Sun and Venus are tightly conjunct those same placements in Star Wars creator George Lucas’ chart.
The dark side theme is there as well with Lucas Moon in Aquarius in the 10th house ( if ever there was a placement that was convinced of its own moral correctness ) opposed to a powerful Pluto buried deep at the bottom of the chart with the resulting T square apex that Venus and Mercury.
The same theme is there for the release chart of the first Star Wars film.
Mercury in Taurus is again a factor, this time in the 10th house as part of a T Square opposite Uranus in Scorpio in the 4th and focused onto an apex Saturn in Leo right on the Ascendant.
Scott Morrison was convinced he was Christian general fighting against the forces of Lucifer.
Scummo was so confident of his hotline to his maker that he chose to hold an election in the week that saw the most difficult lunar eclipse for years.
The eclipse fell right across Morrison’s own Sun / Moon opposition and the T Square apex Saturn turned his own into a Grand Cross.
Scummo called the Australian federal election for the following Saturday.
Inevitably such supreme ignorance saw him immediately dispatched by the true God and the Aussie electorate to one of the more obscure levels of Dantean political inferno.
This presumably would be the Fourth Circle of Hell, where the souls of people ( including according to Dante many cardinals and popes ) are sent to be punished for greed.
They are forced to push great weights symbolizing their selfish drive for fortune during their lifetime. They are guarded by Pluto.
Yet even despite this Saturn forced plunge to the depths, transit Uranus has reached down and given Scott Morrison another massive slap in the face.
With Uranus exactly to the minute conjunct his Sun.
Why is he now in trouble ?
Because when he was social services minister he was responsible for introducing something called Robodebt, a very Uranus in Taurus automated method to create budgetary savings by increasing the pursuit of outstanding debts and investigation of cases of fraud in the Australian welfare system and punishing people on benefits as they were obviously unrepentant sinners who fully deserved to feel the wrath of God.
Many people were unlawfully sent debt notices amounting to several thousands of dollars which they were unable to pay and caused such levels of hardship that it accounted for several suicides.
In the end as Prime Minister, Morrison was forced to scrap his own scheme because it was deemed not to be a vote winner and so ” 470,000 wrongly-issued debts were to be repaid in full. Initially, the total sum of the repayments was estimated to be A$721 million. “
This was the noon chart for the date the automated Robodebt system was brought into being.
The Taurus Moon opposition to a Scorpio Mars in the financial houses falls right on Scummo’s own Sun / Moon.
A nasty and vindictive Venus in Cancer in the 10th ( mean spirited government cost cutting ) in exact opposition to Pluto in the 4th ( serious pain afflicted on the downtrodden ) forms a T square with the noon Ascendant.
Robodebt was one of the many reasons that Morrison was voted out in May 2022 when the lunar eclipse fell at 25 Taurus / Scorpio with Saturn at 25 Aquarius.
Now Uranus has come into this area of the Zodiac and a royal commission into the whole affair has found ” that Morrison, as social services minister, had “ failed to meet his ministerial responsibility to ensure that cabinet was properly informed about what the proposal actually entailed, and to ensure that it was lawful”.
It also found Morrison had “allowed cabinet to be misled” because he did not make the “obvious inquiry” about why his department had changed its view on whether legislation was required to change social security law. “He chose not to inquire.”
The commission has referred several people for civil or criminal actions but has kept their names secret so as not to prejudice any such actions through the pre trial publicity that would obviously be generated.
Given that Uranus will be transiting across his Sun and Moon over the next year or so you would expect Morrison to be one of them.
It also quite fun to guess who else might be on the list.
One who might have had Robodebt named after him was Stuart Robert who was strongly criticised by the Royal Commission for his involvement in establishing the controversial scheme during his time as minister for government services.
Despite a court ruling against Robodebt in 2019, Robert stated that “the government makes no apologies for fulfilling our legal obligation to collect debts”
The royal commission found Robert ” was making statements of fact as to the accuracy of debts, citing statistics which he knew could not be right ”
Stuart Robber has a history of questionable dealings including an undeclared trip to China in support of a friend’s business interests, the possible illegal conduct of candidates in local government elections, possible breaches of consitution and company law, use of taxpayer funds to pay for his private internet usage, being part of a business run by a convicted rapist and vetoing grants because the recipients had different political views to his own.
He has been forced to resign from the Parliament with the Robodebt inquiry coming up.
Like Morrison, Robert had an opposition in the later degrees of Taurus / Scorpio.
The Moon opposite Jupiter is likely to bring some level of financial entitlement.
Uranus is about to hit all this as well.
Alan Tudge was the human services minister in 2017 when the robodebt scheme was facing national scrutiny. The royal commission was damning of his handling of the controversy, saying his ” use of information about social security recipients in the media to distract from and discourage commentary about the scheme’s problems represented an abuse of power. It was all the more reprehensible in view of the power imbalance between the minister and the cohort of people upon whom it would reasonably be expected to have the most impact, many of whom were vulnerable and dependent on the department, and its minister, for their livelihood. “
Tudge also ” faced the possibility of being prosecuted for contempt of court after he made public statements criticising the sentencing decisions of two senior judges while the government was awaiting their ruling on a related appeal.”
In another instance a tribunal ordered that an Afghan asylum seeker be granted a temporary protection visa. Tudge, who was Acting Immigration Minister at the time, instantly appealed but kept the asylum seeker in the detention centre. The Federal Court found that Tudge had “engaged in conduct which can only be described as criminal” and had deprived the asylum seeker of his liberty, which prompted calls for Tudge’s resignation.
Tudge’s former press secretary Rachelle Miller revealed that they had an affair. She also accused him of bullying and intimidation. Following the furore and with the commission into Robodebt looming, Tudge, like Robert, quit politics forcing a by election.
Its interesting that Tudge’s role seems to be more to do with the right wing media as Mercury at 26 Aquarius and the Moon in the same sign square to Saturn would testify.
The transit Uranus has already squared Tudge’s Moon when he was forced to leave politics. It will next be square to his Mercury.
The by election created by Tudge’s enforced resignation was embarrassingly the first gain by a sitting government in over 100 years.
Holding the election on April Fools Day seems very appropriate.
As the party that previously held the seat, the Coalition would be represented by the Ascendant ruler Mars.
Mars is in Fall in Cancer.
Venus for the Labor party is dignified in Taurus.
The Moon applies to an aspect with Venus and has no connection with Mars, clearly showing a shock win for Labor.
The fact that Venus is closely conjunct Uranus in the 2nd house shows that Robodebt was a factor.
We wait to see who will be prosecuted but at this point the chief loser is Peter Dutton, who took up leadership of what was left of the Coalition following a disastrous defeat in the 2022 election.
Dutton is another fully paid up member of the entitled Taurus / Scorpio / Jupiter brigade with a Uranus transit on the way.
He has tried to call political manipulation over the release of the royal commission findings just before the Fadden by election.
That would be an election forced by the resignation of Robert because he knew he would get a bad rap from the commission.
Fadden is a truly safe Coalition seat where the party’s share of the vote has not dropped below 60% for the past 20 years.
This one is too close to call.
The Coalition is represented by the Sun, weak in Cancer and in the 12th house.
With Aquarius on the Descendant, Uranus and Robodebt will clearly be playing a role but as it shares rulership with Saturn there could be two opposition parties.
My feeling here is that Saturn would signify Labor ( because its close to party leader Anthony Albanese’s Piscean Sun ) and Uranus would be the Green Party.
The Moon has no aspects to make with any of the significators.
It could be that most of the Robodebt protest vote goes to the Greens. Australian elections are complicated by the fact that 2nd preferences are taken into account.
The exact sextile between Uranus and the Sun could mean that the protest Green vote splits the opposition in such a way that the Coalition just manage to retain the seat.
Either way, the poor showing in a strong, safe seat would be another humiliation for Peter Dutton.
Uranus’ transit over these degrees over the next year or so seems certain to inflict further embarrassment and damage on a whole bunch of Taurus / Scorpio corrupt, greedy Australian right wing politicians who are already reeling from Saturn’s scythe removing them from power last year.
The 4th circle of hell is not enough for these scummobags.
It seems they are destined for Dante’s eighth layer, where the politically corrupt and people who sowed division walk in a circle. When they pass a certain demon, it chops their head or limbs off – their wounds slowly heal as they walk around again, and the demon chops them again when they come back around.
Thats sounds about right.
It would be a fair punishment for god bothering politicians who chop of the nasty bits of their own charts and project them onto other people.
I would happily pay to watch which is probably just as well because according to Dante the 8th circle of hell also contains sorcerers or fortune tellers who are forced to walk around with their heads on backwards.
