Since time immemorial, astrologers have been amongst the wisest people on Earth.
There are plenty of examples, Isaac Newton, Johannes Kepler, William Lilly and the three blokes who found some carpenter’s kid in a stable thousands of miles away because they understood the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction.
It’s probably also true that some of the followers of astrology have always been amongst the dumbest people around.
Back in the day it was probably easy for initiated people to tell which was which. These days with social media, it’s much harder.
And many astrologers are caught in a conundrum – whether to earn a good living by dumbing the work down to that level or trying to use it to help lift the few that are able to grasp the subject properly.
As Pluto moves into Aquarius this week, we will inevitably see a lot more of the former.
A little while back I read someone “prophesying” that some time over the next 20 years the sea levels would rise because Aquarius is obviously a Water sign.
Cosmic facepalm.
If I had a pound for every astrologer that has forecast a political revolution and social equality for the next couple of decades, I would be rich enough to be the first one for the guillotine when it comes.
Looking around at the start of 2024, it’s hard to see it, but that doesn’t dissuade these people.
They will clutch at any straw to “prove” their theories. Like the UK Tory Party’s inevitable defeat to “Comrade Starmer”.
Whilst conveniently ignoring the extreme right wingers continuing to make serious inroads everywhere else.
Pluto’s passage through Aquarius will certainly bring the themes of democracy, equality and freedom to the fore, but not necessarily in a way would all appreciate.
And Pluto modus operandi tends to take us all down to the very bottom of an experience in order to transform and transcend it. So we might still have some fairly serious shit to swallow before we get to the tree hugging stage.
If we are going to use the simplified Sun sign generalities, Pluto in Capricorn would be marked by the advance of Uber capitalism and autocracy.
As we are at the end of this period we can hardly deny that has been the case, but the early stages of that process were not great ones for the capitalist elite with the banking crisis and Barack Obama’s inauguration marking the beginning of Pluto in Aquarius.
In fact you could make a case for Pluto not really making its Capricorn presence felt until 2016 when it was already half way through the sign.
A similar thing happened for it’s sojourn in Sagittarius (religious fundamentalist wars) period, with 9/11 occurring when it was already 12 degrees in.
Sun sign Astros will use as further evidence that the French Revolution happened the last time Pluto was in the sign, and dismiss the Capricorn naysayers.
But those goaty types are not so easily put off and they would come back with the fact that Pluto was in Aquarius from 1778 to 1798 and that means more than one whole decade before the Storming Of The Bastille.
In fact it could be said that the pivotal event of this period didn’t happen until 1793. Pluto was 22 degrees into Aquarius by then and still needed some considerable help from Uranus to do it.

Louis lost his head when there was a tough Grand Cross involving an exact (a mere two minutes of arc) opposition between Pluto and Uranus, also including the Moon, Mars and Jupiter.
This Grand Cross hit his own Sun.
The Uranus/Pluto opposition was always fated to end Louis’ life, because these two were in close square in his natal chart as part of a T Square with his Ascendant.
Like anyone with an exact Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Leo would be, Louis XV1 was keen to stress his divine right to rule over everyone.
But the symbolism of this placement is much stronger than that. With the Sun in the last five minutes of Leo, Louis would be the last French king.
Precedent is not quite such a law in astrological circles that it is in legal ones, but it’s interesting to look at the symbolism of these last few minutes of Leo and see if it comes up anywhere else.
One man who is threatening to make Pluto’s journey through Aquarius just as much of an autocratic dictatorship that Louis made the last one, has his Ascendant at 29.48 of Leo.
Is that it then? On the basis of this flimsy astrological connection, am I trying to concoct a scenario of Neo fascist Trump dictatorship before the inevitable Pluto in Aquarius revolution coming in a decade or so?
Well Donald might certainly think so, having actually been through all this before.
My recent discovery of the technique of Secondary Regressions which allows me to poke my nose into people’s past lives, is invaluable when it comes to understanding the themes which they have to pursue in their current one.
Donald Trump has a scandalously auspicious chart. His lights have favourable connections with his Ascendant, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus.
The only difficult aspect in his nativity is the Venus/Saturn conjunction.
So if I was doing a Past Life Regression for him, I would certainly focus on that as the point where he was dispatched from his previous one.
Going back to the exact time and date of Louis’ execution brings Trump’s regressed Sun into exact opposition with Saturn (2 minutes or arc) and Mars.
That Mars is a mere 11 minutes away from his current chart’s Saturn.
The Sun is right on the 8th house cusp.
There are two T squares with apexes of Jupiter and Neptune
The Moon is closely square to Pluto. That Pluto at 11 Leo compares with his current life Pluto at 10 Leo.
The chances of something like this occurring are billions to one against.
So Donald Trump is a reincarnation of Louis XV1. He would probably agree with this discovery. Although he would also probably dismiss the French Revolution as fake news put about by the Democrats.
What about Louis himself? Would he appreciate another stab at divine rule in an orange regime?
Let’s have a look then. If we progress his chart to the exact moment that Donald entered this world we get this.
It’s obvious that looking at Louis XV1’s natal chart that the chief pattern is the T square from the Ascendant at 13.56 Virgo opposition Uranus at 9.44 Pisces and apex Pluto at 11.10 Sagittarius.
Progressed 192 years forward his Sun and Ascendant comes to trigger all this powerfully.
Another T square is formed again with an apex Pluto.
Jupiter at 13.54 Virgo is within 2 minutes of his natal Ascendant.
So a billions to one reincarnation chance becomes trillions.
We can safely say that Donald is a reincarnation of Louis, without the dance moves obviously.
Louis’ queen was Marie Antionette, who when told that the peasants have no bread, famously responded with “let them eat cake”.
Obviously after a few years of a Trump dictatorship there won’t be any bread or cake left, but at the rate that he currently generates it, there will be a great many nappy loads of shit.
The maggots who voted for him would probably eat it willingly.
So will Pluto in Aquarius eventually bring about the same fate for Trump?
Perhaps its not quite as safe a prediction as saying the sea levels will rise, but sometime during Pluto’s run in the sign, Donald Trump will die.
His chart doesn’t necessarily indicate execution, but I do like to envisage a 97 year old Trump being led to the guillotine with Pluto in the very final degree of Aquarius (opposite his Ascendant) as part of a T square involving the Moon and Saturn in Scorpio and just like Louis, Uranus at 22 Leo.
If this does happen on 30th November 2043, (250 years after Louis’ own) I will definitely be around to tell everyone I predicted it.
