These days it’s difficult to know whether truth exists or not as a thing in itself or is merely something that is adjustable and fluid that can be used by anyone to further their own hidden agenda while dismissing other ones as fake.

So maybe its good to start with some simple and easily verifiable facts.

The richest 1% in the world have more than double the wealth of 7 billion people.

The 20 richest people on the planet are emitting 8,000 times more carbon than the billion poorest people.

Given there are 8 billion of us and only a few dozen of them, how is all this maintained ? How come we don’t all revolt and burn down their mansions ?

Because they control the media.

And the media exists to distract us from this appalling state of affairs by constantly inventing culture wars for us all to fight in our heads instead.

They can’t ask questions like “ Are you in favour of Elon Musk spending $ 300 billion on space joy rides and buying up your right to free speech while you have to feed your kids on a diet of cardboard and antibiotics at McDonalds because you can’t afford any better ? “

They can’t ask that because you might start to link the two things.

So they have to try and convince you that anyone who wants to change this appallingly unjust situation must deliberately want to make things much worse for you personally rather than better for everyone.

If you hear this message often enough and in lots of different areas of life you subliminally start to believe that anyone wanting to change the status quo in any possible way is a villain threatening you and yours.

There are lots of people who are confused about what they think so let’s use that to convince them that their real enemies are not those few dozen scumbags that are raping the planet to earn more money than they could possibly spend if they lived as long as it has, but a large number of people who try, by and large, to be nice to their fellow beings.

This neat trick is simply and skilfully performed by the use of one word – ” woke “.

There are lots of people who like to believe that the world is an essentially decent place so let’s use that belief to persuade them that their true hero is not some 2000 year old hippy who thought it might be nice if we could all love each other, but the very people whose ownership of everything was so threatened by this idea that they nailed him to a plank of wood. 

There are lots of people who are suspicious of foreigners so let’s use that to convince them that the real threat to their livelihood isn’t the hedge fund managers betting against their country’s currency, but the small handful of people who are so desperate to flee the destruction of their own homeland that they are prepared to risk their lives to cross the sea in a small boat.

There are lots of people who like to read books so let’s use that to convince them that the real threat to their sanity isn’t pseudo religious Nazis wanting to burn any that feature women in it, but a small handful of nerds that think it would be politically correct to take some mean words out of the writings of Roald Dahl.

There are lots of people who respect the late Queen’s stoic T square apex Saturn stiff upper lip duty / service thing so lets use that to convince them that their real enemy is not an entitled pedophile who screams at his servants if one of his 50 teddy bears is slightly out of place on his bed, but a likeable personality whose only ” crime ” was to fall in love with someone who looks a bit different from the rest of them.

There are lots of people who like to look after their own bodies so let’s use that to convince them that the real threat to their health is not a global pandemic that has so far killed off 7 million of them, but the very vaccine developed to fight this virus.

There are lots of people who are men and some of them are less than confident about their own sex life so let’s use that to convince them that the real cause of their problem is not being constantly inundated by caveman notions of what masculinity really should be, but a relatively small number of them who happen to fall in love with other men.

There are lots of people who are women so let’s use that to convince them that the real threat to their lives and sanity is not the ” religious ” patriarchy that refuses them contraception and abortion, forces them to wear burkhas and makes them live like extras in the Handmaid’s Tale, but a tiny handful of people who are so confused about and distressed by their own gender that they are prepared to go through a lifetime of pain and vilification in order to try and change it.

Most of my readers know the degree of the Sun of an ex US President that has spent the last few Neptune transit years devoting himself to this very agenda.

It’s 22 Gemini.

Posie Parker is the name Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull gives herself in order to make her sound like a normal person.

I’m happy to go with her choice but I would add a couple of letters to it because it so neatly describes her views.

In order not to be seen as being prejudiced against her I will simply repeat what Wikipedia says about her

Opposie Parker ” opposes laws and policies that allow transgender people to be legally recognised as their gender, the use of public bathrooms by transgender people according to their gender, the participation of transgender people in sports that align with their gender, and drag performances, including in locations that may be viewed by children.  She also opposes the use of puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy for transgender children. “

Opposie Parker justifies her anti trans stance by saying she is ” Standing for Women “.

This must be shorthand for ” Standing for Women being rounded up and herded into cattle trucks and transported back to the Dark Ages ” then.

Because Opposie Parker is not just anti trans.

” In October 2019, Keen appeared in a video interview with Jean-François Gariépy, a far-right YouTuber who advocates for a “white ethno-state”. She has also given an interview to Soldiers of Christ Online, a far-right network.

In May 2018, Woman’s Place UK, an organisation that opposes gender self-identification for trans people, announced that it had disinvited Keen from a meeting, based on objections to “her stated views on race and religion.” In 2022, Woman’s Place UK published screenshots they said were from Keen’s Twitter account and since deleted, to “clarify our own political ground”, stating they had invited Keen to discuss the 2018 police investigation related to her tweets, and since then, “many of her subsequent connections, statements and actions have only strengthened our decision not to work with her.”

In 2019, Jean Hatchet, a gender critical activist, expressed concerns about what she described as “right-wing links” developed by Keen in the US, as well as her connections to The Heritage Foundation, writing on her blog: “I don’t care what these people think about trans ideology. That cannot be separated from the things they do and advocate that specifically harm women.”

At a Standing For Women rally in Newcastle upon Tyne on 15 January 2023, speaker Lisa Morgan referred to “the big lie”, including that it was “first described by Adolf Hitler in Mein Kampf”, and said “The big lie is that trans women are women.” Queer.de reported Keen appeared “visibly and audibly in a good mood” after the speech, based on a YouTube video of the event posted to Keen’s account. A spokesperson for Cabaret Against The Hate Speech, a Scottish LGBT collective, announced plans to counterprotest Keen’s speaker event scheduled for 5 February in Glasgow, and stated “she was using Nazi theory, the big lie which was what they used against the Jews, to justify her transphobia. At no point did anybody on Keen’s team or Keen challenge that. No one in the group did anything afterwards, they didn’t apologise, they were actually trying to justify it.”

But Opposie Parker understands that there’s a problem with just coming out and saying ” I hate trans people “.

If you want to drag some other people into the gutter with you, making open and honest statements about your true feelings and motivation is probably not going to be that successful, so you need to find a hook to bait them with.

So Opposie Parker makes out that she is peddling her offensive and disgusting nazi ideology because she is actually standing up for women to have the freedom to use a toilet in a prison without being raped by a trans person.

The subtext here is because one trans person once raped a woman prisoner, all of them must be seen in this context. And then none of our gender is safe, we can’t even go into a public toilet without being raped, so all trans people are out to rape us.

This would be the equivalent of me saying that because Jeffrey Dahmer had the Sun in that sign, all Geminis are serial killers.

I have even heard people like Opposie saying there are parents who are prepared to castrate both their own and other people’s children due to their misguided woke politics.

This is just more shit to chuck on the culture war bonfire. 

We don’t have to go back as far as the Nazis to find similar arguments.

Forty years ago, homophobes were using the ” they’ll give us all Aids ” argument to disguise their own hatred and drag some undecideds onto their terrain.

Standing for women is obviously a good and noble cause, but that should mean standing against the patriarchy that for millennia have tried to treat them as 2nd class citizens.

It doesn’t mean punching down on an even more vulnerable and weaker group of people.

It goes without saying that the astrology of all this is complex and difficult to unpick.

One thing that all Geminis share is that it doesn’t matter so much what you actually say, the important thing is that you say something.

Opposie Parker’s Gemini Sun is at the apex of a T-square including the Moon and Jupiter in Pisces and a Virgo Ascendant.

With this combination, it’s not so important that you say something rather that you scream it at the top of your voice.

With it in the 10th house, you scream it in public forums whenever you can.

It’s often true that what a Gemini actually wants to say comes from their Mercury placement.

So with Mercury in Cancer conjunct Saturn and square to Pluto we have homespun Nazism.

If truth is a definite, fixed thing it certainly wouldn’t be seen that way by someone with a Gemini Sun in square to a Pisces Moon.

Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac and is often portrayed as some kind of infinite bucket containing everything that has gone before it.

Presumably the signs last few degrees would be even more of the same. 

People with the Moon there are often depicted as empathic and compassionate because they feel what everyone else goes through.

But this isn’t always the case. 

As with every placement, it depends how it’s aspected to other planets. 

An afflicted late Pisces Moon can easily lose all capacity to process the infinite number of impressions received into any kind of cogent whole and are therefore destined to float around in clouds of delusion. 

If the affliction is to an apex 10th house Gemini Sun they will spend their whole lives shouting their own insanity. 

As Donald Trump has a 10th house Gemini Sun in hard aspect to the Moon, I think you get the idea.

And as we know from Trump, if there’s one time when this combo is going to fall spectacularly off any known sanity radar it’s when Neptune is transiting through it.

Neptune has been running through Opposie’s T square since its conjunction with her Jupiter in 2018. This is when her own mania started to get her noticed.

As it traversed the pattern her delusions became more and more amplified.

But it is only now as Neptune approaches the conjunction with her Moon that she is receiving the natural reward for her hatred.

What people like Opposie Parker don’t seem to realise is what you see is what you are.

Their world is simply a refection of their own psyche. And the one planet that can be guaranteed to show that is Neptune.

That is why so many people like Trump are all at sea with it.

If you don’t see that all the planets in your chart are a part of you and your own, you project their energies onto other people.

Often people come to hold views of hatred toward minorities because they don’t personally know any members of those groups, so they are able to swallow right wing media narratives that negate their individuality.

They are racist because they don’t personally know any people who look different from themselves, homophobic because they have no gay friends and misogynist presumably because they don’t have mothers, sisters, daughters and wives ( or maybe they just hate the ones they do have ). 

There are more possible variations on Moon, Venus and Mars patterns than most people can count.

So why insist that people who don’t share yours are going to hell ?

In fact they don’t actually believe these people will go to hell, in the same way that they don’t really believe any of the religious notions that they try to use to defend their narrow mindedness.

If they really thought people were going to hell they’d be content to encourage them to get on with their behaviour in the knowledge there’d be more room in paradise for themselves. 

They actually deep down know that there is no hell other than the one which their own minds create both for themselves and others. 

And since all those people that they hate will not actually receive any kind of karmic comeuppance in the next life, they are determined to do their best to provide their own notions of hell for them while they are still on earth.

There’s nothing like being a consulting astrologer to help you view the world from another person’s perspective.

We should allow our clients own life experience to broaden our own minds. 

Every day I feel it is a great privilege and responsibility to be invited into my client’s lives with the aim of helping them understand and accept the planetary patterns and requirements of the Universe at the moment of their birth.

And you can be absolutely certain that every single person that suffers from gender related confusion does so because that has been indicated in their birthchart.

My view of the reason why this has become such a big issue for young people in the last few years is because this generation was born with Uranus and Neptune either conjunct in later degrees of Capricorn or even more particularly in Aquarius, and so many young people would have important personal placements linked with these two.

I am fortunate to share a household with a 21 year old Aries who encourages me to remember my pronouns. 

And we really should allow this generation to help us older people become more broad minded. 

It could be that the current knee jerk right wing media reaction to trans people is fuelled by Uranus current transit through Taurus, throwing squares to those Aquarian placements. 

I am assuming that most astrologers have been consulted by young people who have either transitioned or are contemplating such a move.

So as with all consultations it is imperative for astrologers to put aside any personal prejudices that they might have in order to work with their clients. 

You can’t afford to have opinions about groups of people. If you do have it’s important to park them and to consider the individual consulting you and walk an astrological mile in their shoes. 

You would expect astrologers to do this because their subject insists that you can’t take up old school religious binary solutions in an infinitely complex Universe. 

But I have long since given up on any expectations of people who call themselves astrologers having more than a basic understanding of their subject

I have heard of astrologers referring to the trans trap, which is the right wing media’s use of this culture war to undermine democratic institutions.

It is very disturbing and deliberate.

But our ability to identify this trap should be used to expose it and attempt to use our science to undermine its pernicious influence over the minds of people.

Some astrologers are using their notion of the trans trap to further punch down on trans people themselves. 

Which is a simple way of doing the right wing media’s work for them. 

But then again it’s interesting how some of these people have also written horoscope columns for right wing newspapers, which for me would include the serious crime of bringing astrology into disrepute merely for personal financial gain. 

The biggest challenge that we face as humans is to treat other people as individuals rather than as faceless members of groups that we feel threatened by.

Astrology should aid us in this respect because every single birthchart is unique.

Each planet in a chart should not be viewed on its own but in its relationship with all the other ones.

But Sun ( and Moon ) sign obsession, which is absolutely reinforced by horoscope columns, goes against the fundamental principles of the subject and is astrology’s own version of racism. 

If you really want to protest that Opposie Parker is ” standing up for women ” based solely on her Moon sign, just remember that Rupert Murdoch also has a Sun / Moon square with one of them in Pisces. 

And you have made the fatal double mistake of believing both right wing and astrological “ sign placement only “ propaganda.

And I have a whole file of charts of serial killers that would just love to meet you on their astrology dating app.

Neptune is just like any other planet. It’s transits will bring you both what you deserve and what you need for the future.

Neptune always said it’s not wise to cross the equator and required a sacrifice from those that did. 

So when Opposie Parker decided it would be a good idea to take her own brand of delusional hatred to the other side of the world with transit Neptune conjunct her Moon, the results were inevitable.

This week I am phenomenally proud of my adopted great Southern land.

We have finally filled in the largest Social Democrat landmass in the world by ousting a Catholic Nazi premier and along with our New Zealand neighbours have sent Opposie Parker packing covered in insults and tomato soup.
