There are so many ways that astrology could be used, it’s only limited by our own understanding and ability to think symbolically.
Just think of your favourite police drama where the top brass, who are always dumb as a box of rocks bring in some useless academic profiler to help solve the case.
This always comes with a pained, dismissive look from the flawed lone maverick who will actually solve the case while putting their own life in totally unnecessary jeopardy by entering darkened premises armed only with a torch ( and lots of TV lighting ) while the rest of us shout ” call for backup you idiot “.
Said profiler usually wastes twenty minutes of an early episode coming up with astoundingly perceptive observations like the killer was probably young, strong and had two hands.
And a lineup is arranged to check the early suspects against these ” findings “, and we all know the actual killer won’t even be there because it’s only episode two and we have at least another five of said maverick looking pained while their own personal life falls apart at the seams and is apparently no closer to solving the case.
If only they got an astrologer in to do the profiling, they could save all this unnecessary time and said maverick could focus on finding a nursing home for their dad and giving up alcohol to save their own marriage.
So what sort of case could benefit from astrological profiling ?
How about an alleged rape of a young woman in her workplace occurring after she had got drunk at an office party but her employers didn’t want the negative publicity so they spent enormous resources on hiding the evidence, hiring the best lawyers for the defendant and undergoing a campaign that was so egregious that the alleged victim was forced to back down because of fears for her own mental health ?
Everyone involved has voiced their own opinions loudly but we are now told we can’t even speak about the case because there are too many reputations at stake and the alleged perpetrator is exceptionally litigious.
And this whole state of affairs was so complicated that no birthdates for either alleged victim or rapist were available but it was possible that the former could have been on a particular day.
So we won’t name any actual names but let’s call her
Unlike criminals, the charts of their actual victims are not always easy to spot. Their lives are not focused on the deed itself like the perpetrators, in fact they are often just unfortunate to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
So we wouldn’t expect the Sun to be particularly difficult. Its placement conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius in the 3rd house would perhaps just indicate an enthusiastic intern working as part of a team.
The wide square to Saturn in the 6th however might indicate problems to be expected at work and in Pisces these issues might be alcohol related.
The Moon in Aquarius in the 5th house might suggest someone who is political but also likes a party.
Its the connections between these two ( Moon and Saturn ) that get Whitney into trouble.
The Moon is closely square her Venus in Scorpio and Saturn is opposite Mars in Leo in the 12th house.
There are a number of indications in this chart that a relaxed and possibly naive person whose love of partying might get her into trouble of a sexual nature.
If we add that transit Neptune was in Pisces going through her 6th house in square to her Sun at the time we might caution her against getting blind drunk and particularly against returning to her office in the early hours of the morning.
I have mentioned before that Neptune has a significant Role in Sex Crime and this kind of transit can create the background to a potential sexual attack but it could also seriously undermine the victim’s case to the point where many powerful people who had a vested interest in keeping it quiet could pour doubt on whether the rape ever even took place.
It’s fair however to assume that it did, because if it hadn’t why would so many powerful people go to such great lengths to try to deny it ?
Including an extraordinarily successful mission to erase the whole internet of any mention of the alleged perpetrator’s birth details.
So our poor astro profiler is really working in the dark here.
Well not completely because it would be impossible even for Capricorn Research to pluck the right chart out of the billions of possibilities that do exist.
But say we had a place of birth and a possible month and every astrological chart within that all arranged in an implausibly long line up.
We would need to find one that would look like a rapey office worker but also one with particular synastry with Whitney’s.
One that certainly had difficult transits last year but also managed to emerge without a trial being pursued to its natural conclusion.
How about this one ?
For an apparently innocent researcher it would be hard to beat the Sun, Mercury and Venus in Gemini in the 12th.
But for an office rapist we would be looking for a nasty work related Moon, Venus and Mars.
So how about the Moon in Scorpio conjunct Pluto in the 6th house opposite Venus ?
We also know that Truce is very adept at getting the law on his side to cover up an act of work related brutality so a T square based on Mercury in Gemini in the 12th opposite Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 6th focused onto an apex Mars in Virgo seems to fit the bill.
In fact given that Jupiter is also part of this Moon / Pluto thing we could be looking at a serial offender here.
He is also supported up to the hilt by his unscrupulous employers hence the trine from the Moon in the 6th house to Saturn in Pisces in the 10th.
Truce’s synastry with Whitney is also disturbing.
His Sun is opposite hers.
More significantly his Mercury is exactly opposite hers.
In fact her Mercury is exactly conjunct his retrograde Jupiter in Sagittarius so her story is no match for his rather dodgy but certainly very powerful lawyers.
There is 6 months between Truce and Whitney’s charts but Pluto is in exactly the same place, so his Moon is conjunct hers and his Venus opposes it.
But perhaps the biggest finger pointing at Truce Spareman is that his 6th house Moon / Pluto in Scorpio is square to 12th house Mars.
Of course we can’t make any allegations because there is no actual record of Truce’s birthdate and also because he is quite keen to use his family and employer’s wealth to set his retrograde Jupiter in Sagittarius on anyone who dares to suggest otherwise.
All that is happening here is we are looking at a particular combination of symbols that might describe the kind of plot that we could see any night on Netflix.
So far, despite the transit Saturn being square to his Moon for much of last year, Truce Spareman has managed to avoid a trial being completed.
Based on the above is there any possibility that the truth will come out in a court of law ?
While a retrograde Jupiter in Sagittarius might signify a legal system with an overblown sense of its own righteousness and a questionable integrity, true karmic justice is meted out by Saturn in Pisces.
The transit Saturn is not far away and over the next year or so will form a Grand Cross with that T square from the 9th house so Truce may well be calling for one and waving the white flag soon.
Let’s face it, how many astrologers do you know that would touch this story with even the longest of bargepoles ?
There is only one. He may be a rough diamond and definitely is not a team player but he doesn’t hide behind procedures and can’t be bought off by any political heavyweights.
He is more than content to wade into the darkened corners of our world armed only with sarcasm and an ephemeris.
