Back in the early 1980s a pair of cheeky but largely talentless cockneys managed to get a record in the top ten mainly due to their ability to play the same chords and endlessly repeat the word ” rabbit “.

Working class Londoner schtick harking back to the days when the whole family would gather round a beat up piano for a knees up was all it took for Chas and Dave to have their 15 minutes of fame.

It may seem unfair to make the symbolic connection between these third rate entertainers and the current heads of state of the UK and the USA beyond the fact that their names are similar.

But I will make it anyway. 

Both Charles 111 and Joe Biden have been hassling for the top jobs since Uranus went over their Scorpio Suns ( also in the early 1980s ) but have been forced to play second fiddle by a pair of Leo placements, Liz ( Moon in Leo ) and Obama ( Sun in Leo ). 

They are both arguably not up to their roles. Joe Biden’s first two years in office have achieved nothing more memorable than the understandable relief of him not being Donald Trump.

In the top job for 6 months, Charles has so far managed to throw a tantrum about pens and arrange his coronation to exclude his son from attending. 

But things are about to get much worse for both of them.

And for the same astrological reasons, because despite the 6 year difference in their age, Chas and Joe have some remarkably similar placements.

The new king of England has the Sun at 22 Scorpio, the President of the US has it at 27 of the same sign.

This means that they are both dealing with Saturn transits at the moment.

Charles’ Sun is on the cusp of the 4th and 5th houses so you would expect his main themes to be to do with his family, his love affairs and his children.

He’s just emerged from an extremely difficult year of Saturn being square to his Sun.

During this period Charles mother has died finally bringing him the job he has waited for his whole life ( very Saturn ), his brother has given £ 12 million to someone he never had sex with because he was at a pizza parlour at the time and his son has called him out for being a weak, manipulative scumbag who would happily throw any of his family to the media wolves rather than endure any scrutiny himself.

Saturn has been coming for Joe Biden and is about to square his own Sun over the next few weeks, just as the newly Republican controlled House of Representatives have signalled that they will be coming after any secret files that he may have stashed in his own 12th house.

But this is nothing compared to the treats that Chas and Joe have coming due to their lunar synastry. Both men have the Moon in the 1st degree of Taurus.

Charles’ Moon is in the 10th house of career, Joe’s is in the 5th house of kids.

Pluto pays a major role in their natal charts. It is square the King’s Sun and square the President’s Moon.

The transit Pluto is about to square both men’s Moons, this will run for a couple of years but like most of them will be felt very powerfully right at the beginning.

Particularly around the 20th April.

The solar eclipse at the very end of Aries will hit these two big time as its within a degree of their Moons and will trigger the Pluto transit.

Charles in his wisdom has decided to time his coronation within a fortnight of this eclipse, on the following Full Moon. Since Charles never does anything unless its on an eclipse, this was perhaps inevitable. For more on all this see – Charles’ Crown Of Thorns

But stand by for more revelations occurring just before the coronation that totally scupper his big day.

Joe Biden will have it square to a 5th house Moon.

Some time ago I predicted that Biden would not see out his first term of office. This was due to the Pluto / Moon transit but also my feeling that Vice President’s Kamala Harris own Pluto transits would propel her to the top job.

At the moment that scenario doesn’t look very likely but Pluto will always spring a surprise.

The fact that a 5th house Moon is involved could suggest that there is something involving his children.

Biden’s Moon square to an 8th house Pluto is the astrological signature of someone who tragically loses a child. This has happened to Joe Biden twice.

Biden’s Moon is at the apex of a Yod aspect pattern.

A Yod is where two ( or more ) planets are in sextile to each other and they both form 150 degree aspects to another one – the apex planet.

Biden’s Venus and the Sun are sextile his 10th house Neptune and all three are quincunx ( 150 degrees ) to his Moon.

A Yod is often considered to be a tragic aspect because 150 degrees marks the distance from the Ascendant to the 6th and 8th house cusps ( the 6th ruling health and the 8th death ).

So a Yod pointing to an apex 5th house Moon could easily signify the untimely and tragic death of a child.

In December 1972, a few weeks after Biden was elected senator his wife Neilia and one year old daughter were killed in a car accident. His sons aged 2 and 3 were injured and Joe considered resigning from the Senate to look after them but was persuaded not to. He felt ” God had played a horrible trick on him “.

Well if it’s any consolation Joe, I’ve been following Gods plan in the years since this tragedy happened and I’ve come to the conclusion that she can be a very tricky bastard at times.

With this in mind its important to remember that Biden has Pluto in the 8th house square to his Moon.

In December 1972, Pluto was conjunct his 10th house Neptune ( elected as Senator ) and quincunx his 5th house Moon ( tragically lost a child ).

In May 2015 Joe Biden lost his son Beau to brain cancer.

In May 2015 Saturn was quincunx Biden’s Moon and conjunct his Sun and Venus.

So as Pluto comes to square Joe Biden’s Moon, its reasonable to be worried about either his own health or that of his remaining son Hunter.

And given the current MAGA obsession with Hunter Biden’s laptop, we could easily be about to witness Yod history repeating itself.

Queen Elizabeth took one look at the coming transits and decided to check out a year before.

Liz would have had the eclipse right on her Sun with Pluto square it.

So she used the transit Saturn conjunct her Mars as the sensible time to shuffle off this mortal coil.

What advice should astrologers give to Chas and Joe when facing all this ?

We could do a lot worse than offer that given by an infinitely more talented pair of music hall comedians than Chas and Dave.

Bud Flanagan and Chesney Allen had brilliant timing too. 

In October 1939, with Saturn at 0 Taurus ( right on Chas’ Sun and Joe’s Moon ) as part of a Grand Cross they released a record that suggested this ….

“ Run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run, run, run, run
Run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run, run, run
Don’t give the farmer his fun, fun, fun
He’ll get by without his rabbit pie
So run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run, run, run “
