There are many words in life that we collectively assume mean something, that don’t necessarily fit those assumptions.
But we have used those words to mean that thing and so they have become understood to do just that.
Take the word coincidence. If we look it up in a dictionary it is..
” an occasion when two or more things happen at the same time, especially in a way that is unexpected or unlikely, or the unlikely fact of such things happening at the same time “.
This is not the same as saying that those things happened purely by chance and have no connection beyond the fact of their unlikely occurrence.
But most people would make that philosophical jump.
In truth, if two things happen simultaneously that don’t appear to be connected to our miserable little pea brains, there is a very strong likelihood that they are.
And astrology will reveal the link.
A few years back I wrote an article called Coincidence – The Greatest Conspiracy Theory Of All ? This began with the following.
” According to a lot of supposedly intelligent people, we live in a chaotic world. They spend their whole lives searching for meaning, but their definition of what constitutes connection is so narrow that they can only conclude that we are being constantly bombarded by utterly meaningless and entirely disconnected events.
Anything that appears to have connectedness but falls outside of their defined boundaries is dismissed as mere coincidence. One of these is the circumstances surrounding the assassinations of Presidents Kennedy and Lincoln.
Both men were elected 100 years apart (Lincoln in 1860, Kennedy in 1960); they were both succeeded by Southerners named Johnson, and the two Johnsons were born 100 years apart (Andrew in 1808, Lyndon in 1908). Both assassins were born 100 years apart (Booth in 1839 and Oswald in 1939) and both died before they could be brought to trial. Lincoln was shot in a theatre and his assassin was cornered in a warehouse, while Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin was captured in a theatre. Finally, Lincoln was shot in Ford’s theatre, while Kennedy was shot while riding in a Ford Lincoln, and to top it all off, Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln while Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy.
Pretty impressive eh ? But any kind of symbolic connection between them, nah. “
I went on to note the fact that both men had Saturn / Neptune conjunctions at the Midheaven explaining their assassinations.
Both presidents had Mars in the 8th house aspecting their Moons.
And at the time of their assassinations, both had major Saturn aspects to those Mars placements.
Also Andrew Johnson’s Moon was square to Abe Lincoln’s Sun and Lyndon Johnson’s Moon was square to JFK’s Sun.
At the time, Saturn and Neptune were opposing AJ’s 8th house Moon
They were squaring LBJ’s 8th house Saturn.
Andrew became President with Uranus opposing his Mercury, Lyndon with it conjunct his.
What are the odds against all this happening purely by chance ?
Who knows, but its a fair bet if I was to write it down I would be filling the rest of this page with numbers.
But this isn’t the only case of Co – Incidence occurring around President Abraham Lincoln.
We all know that Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth, but did we know that Edwin Booth ( J W’s older brother ) actually saved the life of Robert Lincoln ( Abe’s son ) ?
What would the Lincoln / Booth astrology connections look like ?
The synastry between the assassin and victim is pretty emphatic.
The murderous stuff in Booth’s chart is his Sun conjunct the 8th house cusp opposite Saturn combined with the Jupiter / Uranus opposition forming a T square with the Moon which can be stretched to form a Grand Cross with the 8th house Mercury.
These patterns sit powerfully on Lincoln’s most important placements.
Any opposition will create a certain tension that will be projected powerfully onto any other planet that forms a T square to it.
This would be the case even if that planet were in someone else’s chart.
Abe Lincoln’s Sun and Ascendant at 22 / 23 Aquarius is the apex of John Wilkes Booth’s Sun / Saturn opposition.
We know from the JFK connection that the Saturn / Neptune / Midheaven conjunction in Lincoln’s chart was the reason he had to be assassinated.
That conjunction sits right at the apex of Booth’s own T square, with his Moon exactly conjunct the President’s Saturn.
Booth’s Ascendant is just a degree away from Lincoln’s 8th house Mars and exactly square to his Moon.
And transit Saturn was exactly conjunct Booth’s Ascendant and Lincoln’s Mars at the time.
Ironically only a few months before the assassination, Lincoln’s son Robert slipped on a platform and fell into the space beside the train as it began to move, only to be yanked to safety by Booth’s elder brother Edwin.
And just like the synastry between assassin and victim, the most potent parts of one chart were triggered by those of the other.
Robert Todd Lincoln had a complex chart.
A tight Grand Cross at 21 – 22 Cardinals involving the Moon, Venus, Saturn and Pluto would describe someone who was prone to mishaps.
A Grand Trine between the Sun, Mars and Uranus shows someone who has his fair share of luck as well.
Edwin’s T square with Venus opposing Jupiter and an apex Neptune was on Robert’s Grand Cross, with his Venus conjunct President’s son’s Moon.
There is no clear date for when this rescue took place but it seems to be in the later months of 1864.
At the time Saturn was in the last decanate of Libra conjunct Robert’s Moon and Edwin’s Venus.
At that time, Robert Lincoln’s Grand Cross was under siege.
Robert’s afflicted Moon was conjunct his father’s 8th house Mars.
His Saturn was conjunct Abe’s Moon.
Transit Saturn to these points saved his life but took his father’s.
Edwin Booth’s Sun is his 3rd house ( siblings ) ruler. It was opposite his brother’s Sun and 8th house cusp and conjunct his Saturn.
He was devastated by the President’s death at the hands of his brother.
Edwin Booth’s Venus / Jupiter opposition that saved Robert focused onto an apex 8th house Neptune.
This was being triggered by the Saturn transit at the time.
Just in case anyone has forgotten it was the Saturn / Neptune / Midheaven conjunction that killed both Abraham Lincoln and John F Kennedy.
And Kennedy’s own son, JFK junior, died in a plane crash.
Junior had a Mars / Saturn opposition in the middle of the Cardinal signs.
His last words were Roger Wilco and Out.
Roger Wilkes Booth was the great grandson of……
