Less than a fortnight ago I began an article with the words “A week is a long time in politics” – In The Name Of God, Go

Since then we have had two long times.

Long enough for the chant Donald Duck to replace Go Joe.

Long enough for every conspiracy theory to be thrown into the ring about who was responsible.

If it was a Democrat hit job, it’s hardly surprising that the target was missed.

On the other hand, if Joe Biden had organised it and managed to distract the whole of the secret service at the same time, perhaps he’s not as demented as we all thought he was last week.

Every politician in the world has been prodded onto their podium to send their “thoughts and prayers” and their condemnation of violence against ones political opponents, while probably thinking the exact opposite.

Meanwhile the local media are parading MAGA nuts who are excited to say how they saw some 20 year old with an AK 47 wandering around amongst them and climbing up onto a roof, but they thought nothing of it because “this is Amurrrica”.

If it was an inside job, the accuracy was perfect. Everyone’s saying, just an inch to the right would have made his brain just like Biden’s.

But this is Donald Trump we are talking about so let’s agree on three inches.

The timing was also perfect. Just hours before the Orange Hitler was due to give his version of the Reichstag address too.

But then timing always is perfect.

And despite all and sundry going around posting the finger of blame everywhere, there are only two real culprits.

The exact same ones as in Berlin 85 years ago.

On January 30th 1939, Adolf Hitler had transit Uranus conjunct his natal Mars.

Transit Mars was also conjunct his Sun.

This very weekend both Mars and Uranus conjoined in exact square to Trump’s own Mars.

And just to add context, Uranus hasn’t been in this place since Hitler’s time. Or the birthdate of someone else who pulled the trigger and was shot by the secret service before having the opportunity to confess who his real paymasters were.

Lee Harvey Oswald has Mars in the sign of politics (Aquarius) in the house of death (8th) in square to Uranus in Taurus in the house of politics (11th).

Oswald’s Mars is at the apex of a T square.

Oswald’s target, President John F Kennedy had Mars in Taurus in the 8th house of death in square to Uranus in the sign of politics.

It goes without saying that JFK’s Mars is conjunct Oswald’s Uranus.

Thanks to one regular writer on Mundane Astrology, I have the birthdate of Trump’s assailant.

It is hardly surprising that Matthew Crooks was born with an exact Mars/Uranus conjunction.

He also has a nerdy, emotionally challenged Sun in Virgo, Moon conjunct Saturn in Cancer combination.

In the same way that Oswald’s Mars/Uranus combination dovetailed with JFK’s, Crooks’ does with DJT.

Crooks’ Uranus at 29.48 Aquarius is exactly to the minute opposite Trump’s Ascendant at 29.48 Leo.

His Mars is also opposite Trump’s own Mars.

Transit Uranus and Mars are currently forming a T square between Trump’s Mars/Ascendant and Crooks Mars/Uranus.

So how come he missed then?

Because this Mars/Uranus conjunction is on Trump’s Midheaven, being extremely helpful for his career.

And given that he has Uranus conjunct his Sun in his 10th house and Mars conjunct his Ascendant, these two generally work well for him.

If either had been opposite such an important placement that would have been a different matter.

Joe Biden has the Sun opposite Uranus.

“He is about to experience his Uranus Return” is really not the kind of statement that should be made of a President unless its around the time of the Dissolution Of The Soviet Union

Right now, Joe Biden has both transit Uranus and Mars opposite his Sun, so you could say that he was the real loser from yesterday’s assassination attempt.

You could, but I think a reasonable case should also be made for all the astrologers who predicted a Joe Biden win in November and who now have to trawl the internet erasing their own prophecies.

Whether they all also have Mars/Uranus aspects in Fixed signs, I really can’t be bothered to find out.
