The big question in astrology is about fate versus free will.
There’s a lot about accepting that which can’t be changed and focusing on changing that which is within your power to do so.
If your chart insists you’re going to be an authoritarian dickhead, you probably don’t have much choice about it. But you could at least ensure that you’re a successful, efficient authoritarian dickhead.
You can’t change the circumstances of your birth and the patterns that you have to carry with you this time round, but you can try and time the important events in your life.
Elections are called that not because the people choose whether to vote for you or not, but because you have the power to say when they are held.
So if you are too stupid to call an election at a time when the planets favour your nativity over that of your opponent, why should you expect them to vote for you ?
Some of these fools profess to believe in God, but then refuse to check out the Almighty’s plans in advance.

This God botherer thought he had a hotline to the man himself. That comes from having the Moon in Scorpio conjunct Neptune in the 9th house.
He thought that made him invincible because he was obviously doing the Lord’s work on earth ( as in trying to bring forward armageddon ). That comes from having a Sun / Moon opposition focused by T square onto an apex Jupiter in Leo.
The Australian election had to be called by May 2022, but TV political pundits had been suggesting that Prime Minister Morrison would cut and run for an early election around October or November 2021.
As an Australian resident and also as a human being, I was rightly concerned about this state of affairs because if Scummo had called the election for October he would have had Jupiter square both his Sun and Moon and would have won.
Of course I didn’t mention my fears in public until after that date because you can never tell who might be reading. This is what I wrote in December 2021
” But Jupiter started moving out of orb on the very day that Cop 26 began.
A T Square apex Jupiter will inevitably bring a lot of unearned good fortune, but the downside is that someone with this placement would expect success as their birthright. It’s therefore likely to lead to misplaced confidence and arrogance.
And after Jupiter comes Saturn, its polar opposite. Saturn won’t give you anything unless you’ve earnt it. And if you haven’t, Saturn will give you a good kicking.
Towards the end of March Saturn forms a Grand Cross with Scummo’s T Square, quite possibly one of the most unpleasant transits you can get.
This transit remains in place until the end of the year.
It is then followed by Uranus conjunct his Sun in 2023.
Even though we don’t know the timing of the election, the most likely reading of this is not only will the Coalition lose but Morrison will resign or be defeated as party leader and probably leave politics altogether. “
But I underestimated Scott Morrison.
He’s no ordinary dickhead, he’s a total arch fuckwit.
The week he handpicked for the election was the worst one possible. Even a team of astrologers armed with an ephemeris for the whole century would have struggled to pick a more catastrophically disastrous date.

This lunar eclipse focused onto an apex Saturn. It was an extremely tight T square ( only a 1/3 degree ).
Saturn formed a Grand Cross with Scummo’s own T Square.
Scott Morrison chose to call the Australian election the following Saturday.
God couldn’t have been any clearer if he’d struck his man with a lightning bolt.
It goes without saying that my prediction was true. Morrison lost by a landslide to Labor, resigned as party leader and the way things are going is very likely to leave politics altogether when Uranus hits his Sun.
I was reminded of this while reading about some other fascist loon who was aiming for an illegal third term of office. As they do.
These things are very simple. While Jupiter will feed your addiction to power, Saturn will give you cold Turkey

In that kind of weird but symbolically glorious way that astrology throws up constantly, Turkish right wing President Recep Erdogan has a chart with a mutual reception.
This one is between Jupiter in Gemini and Mercury in Pisces.
It’s compounded by the fact that its part of a T square also involving the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars.
This is the kind of motormouth, pain in the arse configuration that would give Donald Trump a serious run for his money.
Erdogan first became noticed in December 1997, when as Mayor of Istanbul he recited a poem ( apex Sun / Mercury in Pisces ) that a judge ruled ” incitement to violence and religious or racial hatred and was given a ten-month prison sentence. He was forced to give up his mayoral position due to his conviction. The conviction also stipulated a political ban, which prevented him from participating in elections. “
This happened while Pluto was square his Sun and conjunct his Moon / Mars.
In 2001 he founded the AKP party which ” turned out to be successful as the new party won 34% of the vote in the general elections of 2002. Erdoğan became prime minister in March 2003. “
This all occurred with Pluto further into the T square square to his Mercury / Venus and opposite Jupiter.
After Pluto it was Neptune’s turn when it was conjunct his Sun and square that Moon in 2014 when he became President of Turkey.
Neptune continued through the T square in 2016 – 18 as Erdogan ” declared the state of emergency, citing the coup d’état attempt as justification. It was first scheduled to last three months. The Turkish parliament approved this measure. The state of emergency was later continuously extended until 2018 amidst the ongoing 2016 Turkish purges including comprehensive purges of independent media and detention of tens of thousands of Turkish citizens politically opposed to Erdoğan. “
So Recep Erdogan has effectively ruled Turkey since 2002.
He has called an election for May 14th 2023. The Turkish constitution only allows a President to serve two 5 year terms.
” Erdogan was first elected president in August 2014, having previously served as prime minister since 2003. He was re-elected in an early election in June 2018.
The constitution, therefore, appears to rule out an Erdogan candidacy.
But Erdogan is running as the candidate for the People’s Alliance — the electoral pact between his Justice and Development Party (AKP), the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and the Great Unity Party (BBP).
His supporters back the legality of his candidacy by arguing that constitutional changes introduced in a 2017 referendum, which came into force in the following year’s election, mean Erdogan’s first, post-2014 term does not count.
The referendum ended Turkey’s previous parliamentary system and brought about a presidential regime that concentrated power in the hands of the president, which had been a largely ceremonial role, as both head of state and government.
Therefore, according to the argument of Erdogan’s backers, his 2018 victory was the first under the new system and should be considered his initial term in office. “
Which is the kind of shape shifting that only an apex T Square Piscean kind of totalitarian ruler could come up with.
But this time it’s not Jupiter, Pluto or Neptune pulling the strings, its Saturn.
Saturn will be conjunct Erdogan’s Sun in May so its looking like the grim reaper will call time on the old bastard.
Erdogan’s chief challenger is Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

It would do, if it wasn’t for the fact that Neptune is square to Kemal’s Sun and Mercury, making a path to victory very unclear.
Saturn is also opposing its own natal position, so that’s not so helpful either.
Erdogan “currently trails in opinion polls behind Kilicdaroglu, the joint candidate of the Nation Alliance opposition bloc, but experts say the Erdogan camp is counting on another challenger, Muharrem Ince, to split the opposition vote and force a run-off. “

The election falls just after Jupiter’s conjunction with Ince’s Mars.
Maybe the ballot will be impacted by the lunar eclipse,

This falls within a degree of Muharrem Ince’s Sun.
All this seems to suggest there’s a very good chance of no-one getting the 50% required to be elected President.
If there is to be a run off it would be held 2 weeks later, at time when Jupiter would be conjunct Ince’s Mercury.
Most pundits believe there is little chance of Ince winning the election but they feel his inclusion would split the opposition vote and hand Erdogan a 3rd term.
We will have to wait and see but the astrology seems to point to Muharrem Ince having a big say in what happens. Perhaps what is needed is for Kilicdaroglu to make some concession and an offer of a big job to Ince to buy off his candidacy in the week before the election.
With Saturn conjunct his Sun I would normally expect Erdogan to do one, but dictators are not so easily dismissed.
Mutual reception in horary will often refer to a third party who comes to the aid of the person asking the question.
We will have to watch this turkey shoot and see how it pans out.
