Anyone recognise these figures ?
Is it the state by state numbers of US schoolchildren gunned down in the last decade ?
Is it the aspect orbs of Mars to Pluto for the scumbags that killed them ?
Close. It’s actually the age of US Presidents when they were first inaugurated.
A kind of Fibber – Nazi sequence, if you will.
And like all political patterns these days, the numbers are getting larger.
While it may seem to people of my generation that policeman are getting younger these days, American self appointed global ones are certainly getting older.
My first public astrology prediction was in a published letter to the Guardian saying that Ronald Reagan would not get reelected in 1984.
I based this on the altogether reasonable assessment that Saturn was square to his Sun at the time, having also been opposite his Moon for the preceding six months.
I now realise that this was part of a complex series of transits that included Pluto sextile and Neptune conjunct his Mars, both also trine and sextile his Venus, Uranus sextile his Sun and Jupiter conjunct his Mercury / Uranus.
But I was a young fool in those days and having my own Saturn Return, so I believed Old Father Time would sort out this 73 year old braindead, monkey assistant once and for all.
President Walter Mondale was a shoo in.
Since then I have realised that far from Saturn transits being a hindrance to ascending to the White House, they are actually an essential part of the process.
Saturn always requires taking a greater level of responsibility even if that means just ensuring your fumbling ” aw shucks ” answers to journalists’ questions will always be drowned out by the whirring blades of a neighbouring helicopter.
And its worked many times over for inauguration dates.

Barack Obama 2009 – Saturn conjunct Mars
Donald Trump 2017 – Saturn conjunct Moon / opposite Sun
Joe Biden 2021 – Saturn sextile Ascendant
Interestingly both Trump and Biden have Saturn transits for inauguration 2025, Trump has it coming to square both his Sun and Moon in a similar combo that he had for 2017.
Biden has Saturn trine his Mars for the election and trine the rest of his Scorpio planets during 2025.
So either way it looks like one old fool is going to get even older.
It’s important to recognise that these Saturn transits didn’t give any of them the top job. That is more likely to be Uranus and Pluto transits, but equally Saturn wasn’t a hindrance.
The most important thing when you get a Saturn transit is that you take it on the chin, go back to the drawing board and learn from it.
After getting Reagan wrong, as a true son of Saturn I did exactly that, researched astrology properly and made no public predictions until my 2nd Saturn Return.
So when I was looking at Donald Trump’s transits for 2016 I wasn’t put off by the fact that he was the same age as Reagan was in 1984 or that he also had Saturn aspecting his Sun and Moon ( conjunct the 4th house Moon, opposite the 10th house Sun ).
I just recognised that along with Uranus and Jupiter both trining and sextiling those lights, Saturn’s role was just around him moving to a smaller house and having the responsibility of sharing his political, social and medical ” expertise ” with a wider audience.
So if other transiting factors are in agreement, Saturn transits will win Presidential elections more often than lose them.
Maybe it’s the planet itself giving Americans exactly what they deserve.
