Life as we know it is a dance between the Sun and Moon, day and night, male and female. The patterns that the lights weave between them are the single most important in establishing our own character and life patterns.

Every month they come together at the New Moon or oppose each other at the Full Moon. If these events fall near any of your own placements you will experience them strongly.

But twice a year this connection becomes much more powerful with eclipse season.

Each consists of a fortnight period with one Solar and one Lunar Eclipse.

The Sun is 400 times larger than the Moon and 400 times further away. This creates the possibility for eclipses which are dismissed as an entertaining coincidence by most scientists. These people are naive, stupid and not even entertaining.

They cannot conceive of the possibility of order in the Universe because there is none in their own brains, so they lack the capacity to perceive it outside of themselves.

Eclipses occur exactly and precisely when they are meant to and trigger an immense focus on the areas of the Zodiac that they hit.

If you have placements close to, opposite or square to these areas you will be profoundly affected over a period of up to a month either side, but particularly so in the week before exactitude.

They are often linked with sudden, unexpected events that throw us a curve ball.

Eclipses can act as triggers for underlying slower planet transits or in some cases will identify such themes that are to come.

The most important thing in the run up to eclipse season is to be prepared for it, so that when something happens you have context for it and can understand what type of response the Universe wants from you.

The last eclipse season in March 2025 was particularly challenging, the next one in September looks like being more of the same, particularly for people with placements in Mutable signs.
