We know that we come into this world with rich and complex patterns of personality and life themes to work with and that these are accurately predictable from birth, without even needing to refer to our parents or our circumstances.

What has come before us to create these patterns ?

There must have been something that existed prior to us that ordained that we would be born in this moment in order to experience these themes. And the simplest way to comprehend this fact is to conclude that we existed before.
