Are We In For A Year’s Hardie Labour ?

Surely they can’t blow it from here.

To call thirteen years of Tory misrule unlucky would be the understatement of many centuries. In that time their sole achievement has been to turn the UK into a massive sewage farm.

They swore that Brexit would save everyone money. Well the fruit and vegetable bill has certainly gone down.

The minister responsible for the current food shortage has a solution – ” let them eat turnips “.

Marie Antoinette allowed the French peasants to have some cake and she was still guillotined.

Labour have a 25% opinion poll lead and yet…..

Labour leader Keir Starmer has a powerful chart with an exact and forensic Sun / Pluto conjunction in Virgo opposite Jupiter.

With a Libra Moon, Mercury and Venus, his sharp barrister act, steadily reeling in a hapless victim in an understated even friendly manner by just using simple facts was more than a match for that blustering liar, Gemini stellium with Moon in Scorpio Boris Johnson.

So far Taurean Rishi Sunak has steadfastly refused to respond to Starmer’s Jupiter in Pisces bait, and some people in the Labour Party are beginning to question whether he is still the right man for the job.

They have obviously been looking at the ephemeris too as Saturn has entered Pisces and is heading to oppose Starmer’s Sun.

This peaks in February 2024 and its not just an issue for him personally.

Starmer’s Sun is exactly opposite that of his party. So despite all of the above issues conspiring to make the Tory government totally unelectable, Saturn’s transit means the opposition party can expect to go through a tough time.

Is the chart of a socialist movement, the Labour party’s is hard to beat.

A Pisces Sun and Mercury indicates a strong affiliation with the underdog and an Aquarius Moon and Mars places them on the ideological wing of the political spectrum.

This is compounded by the fact that the Labour Sun is at the apex of a T Square consisting of those two revolutionary planets Uranus and Pluto.

It’s no wonder that the emergence of this party at the start of the 20th century whipped up fears of the very kind of communist revolution that Russia was heading towards.

Starmer’s Virgo Sun is exactly opposite the Labour Sun, so he’s hardly on the the left wing of his party, unlike his namesake.

Labour’s first leader Keir Hardie has the Moon in Aquarius, conjunct the Party’s own.

It’s also part of a T Square with the Sun that focuses onto an apex Uranus that would sent the Taury establishment running for the barricades.

Just like Starmer will play a major role in Labour’s 4th Saturn / Sun transit, Hardie was instrumental in its 1st one.

This occurred in 1906.

In its infancy the party was called the Labour Representation Committee.

” In their first meeting after the election the group’s Members of Parliament decided to adopt the name “The Labour Party”. Keir Hardie, who had taken a leading role in getting the party established, was elected as Chairman of the Parliamentary Labour Party (in effect, the leader), “

Some astrologers believe that the name change meant that the Labour Party chart should actually be formed for this time.

This is another very radical chart with Sun, Mercury and Venus in Aquarius and Mars in Aries at the apex of another revolutionary T square, this one with a Uranus / Neptune opposition.

This chart resonates strongly with Keir Hardie’s as their Suns are in opposition, just like Starmer’s is with the 1900 Labour chart.

The 1906 Moon is square Hardie’s own as well.

The mutable quality of the 1900 chart has gone and been replaced by a Cardinal T Square and both lights in Fixed signs, which is a reasonable commentary for an organisation that has found a way through and become a definite political force.

You could say the that the Labour Party contains elements of both charts.

To be fair, this also applies to the Conservative party as two different charts ( formed in 1834 and 1867 ) have the Moon in Cancer and Taurus respectively, both describing aspects of the party.

However one of these the resonates more strongly with the most significant transits of its almost two century long history. – for more details on this see The Conservative party – A Cancer At The Heart Of British Politics

As a triple Capricorn I am not inclined to pick a chart based on someone’s opinion. I want to test it to see if it works in practice.

The most effective way to test a chart for a political party is the same as I would choose for any other one, to look at the major Pluto transits and see if they correspond to a powerful transformation and visible peak for the party.

The 1900 chart has the Sun square to Pluto. This would mean that the two transits it has had in its history since then would have an even more dramatic impact.

The first time Pluto opposed the Sun and went through the T square was between in 1961 and 65 when the Conservative government that had been in power for over a decade was blown apart by the Profumo Affair.

To quote Wikipedia ” John Profumo, the Secretary of State for War in Harold Macmillan’s Conservative government, had an extramarital affair with 19-year-old model Christine Keeler beginning in 1961. Profumo denied the affair in a statement to the House of Commons, but weeks later a police investigation exposed the truth, proving that he had lied in his statement. The scandal severely damaged the credibility of Macmillan’s government, and Macmillan resigned as Prime Minister in October 1963, citing ill health. Ultimately, the fallout contributed to the Conservative government’s defeat by the Labour Party in the 1964 general election. “

In 1964 Harold Wilson ended 13 years of Conservative misrule.

The next Pluto transit occurred between 1998 and 2002. Tony Blair’s election victory in May 1997 brought to an end 18 years of even worse Tory doom.

If we use the 1906 chart for Labour, the first Pluto aspect to the Sun, the opposition occurred between 1953 and 56, wilderness years for the party.

The square aspect was from 1993 – 94, during a similar spell just after Labour leader Neil Kinnock had managed to throw away a convincing lead to lose to John Major in 1992.

This simply goes to prove that whereas the 1906 chart might add to our understanding of the characteristics of the modern Labour Party, it’s the 1900 one that proves to be the one that responds to transits.

If we were in any doubt at all, in 1945 when Clement Attlee was elected as a massive shock and slap in the face to Winston Churchill’s Tory Party, the transit Pluto was opposite the 1900 Labour Party Moon.

Astrology really is very simple. The charts themselves will always tell you where to look if you are prepared to park your prejudices and simply observe what happens.

So given that the 1900 Labour Party chart is the right one for our purposes, what happened the 2nd time the transit Saturn hit its Sun ?

This was in 1935 when George Lansbury the Labour leader, with Saturn also conjunct his own natal Pisces Sun at the time resigned realising that with the looming prospect of war ” a Christian pacifist could no longer lead the party “.

The next time Saturn transited to conjunct the 1900 Sun was in the early months of 1965.

This one was complicated by the fact that both Pluto’s above mentioned passage through the T Square and Uranus being opposite the Sun in 1964 brought Harold Wilson to power.

But those early days of government were rife with difficulties for Labour.

” The 1965 Leyton by-election was a parliamentary by-election held on 21 January 1965 for the British House of Commons constituency of Leyton in east London.

The seat had become vacant when the constituency’s long-serving Labour Member of Parliament (MP), Reginald Sorensen, was made a life peer on 15 December 1964. An MP for over thirty years, his elevation to the peerage was intended to create a vacancy in a safe seat for the Foreign Secretary, Patrick Gordon Walker, who had been defeated in a shock result in the 1964 general election in his Smethwick constituency.

The result of the contest was not as planned: the Conservative Party candidate, Ronald Buxton, won with a majority of 205 votes, a swing from Labour of 8.7%. Gordon-Walker resigned as Foreign Secretary “

So even in a powerful Uranus / Pluto period for Labour, Saturn’s transit to the Sun still brought serious problems for the party.

Saturn’s next one was in 1994 when party leader John Smith died unexpectedly of a heart attack. Pluto was conjunct his Ascendant when he died.

Every Saturn conjunction to the Labour Sun has brought about a change in the leadership.

Only the 1965 one occurred when the party was in power and that was a loss of the Foreign Secretary rather than the Prime Minister but we can see that other favourable transits were compensating for that.

The one that most closely reflects the current situation is that of John Smith because like Keir Starmer he had a Virgo stellium.

Smith’s Mars and Mercury were opposite the Labour Sun.

Unfortunately we don’t have Starmer’s birth time so we can’t know whether a Pluto transit over his Ascendant will kill him off.

But there’s one man who will surely benefit.

In April 2024, Tory Party leader and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will have both Jupiter and Uranus conjunct his Sun.

It was because this was coming up that a few years back I predicted Sunak would replace Boris Johnson – see The Tauries – A Perpetual Chimps Tea Party and Uranus And The Taury Revolution

If the next General Election was held tomorrow, Sunak, Johnson, Braverman and the rest would be dispatched to Rwanda along with their policies.

But if it comes this time next year, 14 years of raw sewage could easily become 19 years of being forced to eat it.

It would also mean that those bastards have been reading my articles.

Is there anyone that could save the country and the Labour Party ?

Step forward Keir Hardie. With that Jupiter / Uranus in his T Square he would be more than a match for Rishi Sunk.

And if the Yanks are so determined to elect people on their Uranus Return it’s only a matter of time before we get leaders doing their 2nd one.
