The names we give our children are very important. They carry a lot of symbolic power.
This is true on many different levels, not least due to the sound of them.
It’s not commonly known but the five vowels are associated with different chakras, and if you chant them consciously over time, you will feel a resonance with the part of the body associated with them.
This is why when we say the word “Ah” it moves something in the heart chakra.
The sound O is more closely related to the sacral area, E to the throat etc.
So if a child’s name has a strong focus on one of these vowels, they will unconsciously hear that resonance each time they are called, and will associate themselves with the energy of those chakras in some way or another.
But there are so many other symbolic associations that a child’s name can bring up.
Imagine what it would be like if every time someone said your name, you were being reminded of where your parents conceived you.
As far as I can see the only reason for observing the bizarre lives of these halfwits is to help us with our understanding of astrology.
Astrology is a symbolic science and a birthchart works on a number of different levels.
My advice to anyone attempting to read a chart is to contemplate its general shape first and particularly to look at the strongest aspect patterns before focusing on the role of individual placements.
This, I know, is not the approach suggested in the vast majority of astrology textbooks which start with the Sun sign, go onto the Moon and other planets, then look at their house positions.
If you are lucky there will be a bit at the back about aspects.
But if you look at Brooklyn Beckham’s chart shape first of all you can see an intriguing picture.
It is dominated by that exact (within half a degree) opposition between the Moon in Libra in the 1st and Venus in Aries in the 7th house.
This is astrology’s way of describing how everyone who speaks his name at the same time imagines his Mum (Moon) getting it on (opposite Venus in Aries in the 7th).
Brooklyn is also known for having a famous bridge and this chart portrays it.
That opposition line across the middle of a chart suggests a bridge from one side to the other, and virtually all of the other planets are underneath it.
So with Brooklyn Beckham, there is a lot of water under this bridge.
Whenever there is an opposition between a 1st house planet and a 7th house one, there is always going to be some challenge around marriage and relationships.
It’s as if the person needs and looks for a partner that creates conflict with another important part of their life.
The tighter the opposition aspect as, the more powerfully this drama of conflict will play out in their life.
Brooklyn’s opposition is between his Venus in the 7th denoting his wife and his Moon, which is obviously referring to his Mum.
With the Sun in Pisces in the 6th house, Brooklyn Beckham’s role in life is to play support to the main acts.
Again, look at the general shape first.
Victoria Beckham has a Kite formation, which as the name implies is a unique combination of planets that allows you to float freely through the skies of life.
A Kite is based on a Grand Trine where three of more planets are functioning in an effortless and complimentary fashion in signs of the same element, but this easy expression is given a bit more steel and shape by an opposition which brings another planet in.
Victoria’s Grand Trine involves the Moon in Aquarius in the 9th, Mars and Saturn in Gemini in the 12th and Uranus in the 5th.
She also has an exceptionally fortunate Venus/Jupiter conjunction right on the Midheaven.
This is the chart of someone who would never have to work or struggle for anything, someone whose chief talent is for self promotion.
Someone who would be dropped off at school in her father’s Rolls Royce, who despite the fact that she couldn’t sing or play a musical instrument would be picked and launched into a stellar pop career.
Someone who to keep her brand at the top of people’s consciousness once her stardom was on the wane would aim to become the England captain’s wife, launch a fashion business and relentlessly use her own children as an ongoing photo opportunity.
As the Sun’s opposition with Uranus in the 5th house shows, it would be this last part of the plan that would create the biggest problem.
As always with this aspect, the big blow out will come when Uranus conjuncts the Sun by transit.
This happened for Victoria in 2017, when Brooklyn first met Nicola Peltz.
At the same time transit Neptune was conjunct Brooklyn’s Sun.
So baby’s dream girl turned out to be Momma’s mid life crisis.
We don’t have a birthtime for Nicola Peltz, but a noon chart is very instructive anyway.
For a Capricorn it’s always better to start off with some kind of hardship or disadvantage. It gives you somewhere to go and fuel for your mission in life.
It must be so hard for a Capricorn daughter of a Maggot billionaire to find their true calling.
So all you can do to get your kicks is to set about destroying someone else’s.
And you have to use your strengths to do that. Which with Mars in Virgo square Venus in Sagittarius seems to be an uncanny ability to form critical but ultimately dysfunctional relationships.
And to choose your chief victim through Saturn which is opposite Mars.
Needless to say, Nicola’s Saturn is conjunction Brooklyn’s Sun.
And just to ram the point home, Brooklyn’s Saturn is conjunction Nicola’s Moon.
Nicola’s arrival on the scene would be a disaster for Brand Beckham.
Her Saturn is exactly (an orb of 1 minute) conjunct Victoria’s Jupiter.
And that Saturn is part of a T square with an apex Venus/Jupiter conjunction of her own.
So a clash of publicity machines was inevitable.
Nicola and Victoria’s composite chart as horrible.
There are two T squares, one with Ascendant opposite Uranus in the 7th apex Sun and Mercury in the 10th is clearly indicating serious problems in marriage.
The other one with Saturn opposite Pluto and an apex Mars is murder on the wedding dance floor.
When you see these charts it is even possible to have a little sympathy for this absurd bunch of rich idiots.
Just like us, t hey have all this drama because they were born when they were.
But we all still have a choice in some things, like electing a suitable moment for your wedding,
So if you don’t want your Mum to steal the show by dancing inappropriately all over you don’t time your nuptials for when there’s a Cancer Moon opposite Pluto in the 7th house.
The apex of this T square is on Mercury in Aries, exactly conjunct Victoria’s Sun, so of course she was going to make it all about her.
So where now for the Peltz/Beckham’s?
My advice for Nicola – You will probably get bored with all this soon (transit Uranus opposite Venus square Mars) and need to look for some other puppy to toy with.
Advice for Brooklyn – When she gets sick of you, which will probably be sometime around the middle of this year (transit Saturn conjunct Venus, opposite Moon) don’t go crying to Momma.
Advice for Victoria and David – You built this bridge back in Brooklyn so you need to get over it.
