The phrase itself seems to be on constant repeat these days.
As individuals, some of us may appear to learn our lessons, but the general consensus must be that humanity on the whole, does not.
The main reason for that, is that we don’t see history coming.
Astrology shows us that there are patterns in nature that repeat themselves.
Everyone recognises that the Sun’s yearly path around the Earth has an impact, many understand that the Moon’s monthly one does as well.
The logical inference would be that the other bodies in the solar system must do as well, but no that is a step too far for the biped destroyers of nature’s good who live there.
There has been much talk from astrologers about the Uranus cycle of 84 years and where we are on it relative to the rise of fascism and World War 2/3.
On the 6th September 1941 and bizarrely on exactly the same date in 2025, Uranus started to go retrograde at 0.21 Gemini and 1.28 Gemini respectively, so by that calculation Pearl Harbour is about 10 weeks away.
It’s understandable that the world’s attention is drawn to a USA being run by a 5 year old who has just picked up a hand grenade, but perhaps it’s not just all about them.
After all the main event in September 1941 was actually the start of the siege of Leningrad.
And there is another less well known cycle that is hitting the planet at the moment.
This is the Saturn/Neptune conjunction which occurs every 36 years and is being seriously triggered by the fact that this week’s solar eclipse falls opposite it.
Neptune rules dissolution but Saturn is associated with both falls and walls, which is fascinating because the last time they came together saw…
This momentous event in human history is obviously indicated by the Saturn/Neptune conjunction, but it is also connected with the Sun/Pluto one, because 72 years (36 times 2) previously there was an even bigger one.
The chart for the October Revolution and the Bolsheviks storming of the Winter Palace has always been considered as the chief one for Soviet Russia.
This happened during another Saturn/Neptune conjunction.
The T square involving a Saturn in Leo/Uranus in Aquarius opposition and an apex Scorpio Sun and Mercury goes a long way to describing the various themes involved in the creation and expression of the Soviet Empire.
Uranus in Aquarius could point to the socialist ideals but Saturn in Leo would be the dictatorial rule.
The Fall of the Berlin Wall sees Pluto reach the same degree of Scorpio as the Soviet Sun and the Saturn/Neptune conjunction in exact trine to its Moon.

The Wall came down two Saturn/Neptune cycles from 1917.
What happened during the one in between?
Many observers of history would say that the socialist experiment which was the Russian Revolution went badly wrong in 1922 when ill health forced Lenin to step down as leader of the Communist party and he was replaced by Joseph Stalin.
This coincided with Neptune (in Leo) entering the 1917 T square.
The Saturn/Neptune conjunction of 1953 saw the fall of the Stalin Wall.
In fact the chart for the moment of his death, has this conjunction rising and opposing Venus and Mars.
Readers who understand patterns might already be able to see where this is going.
Russia is currently ruled by a dictator who has many similarities with Uncle Joe.
He was also born on the same Saturn/Neptune conjunction that took his mentor out.
In February 2026, the current Saturn/Neptune conjunction perfects.
In March, Saturn will be square to the Sun of the chart of the modern day Russia.
In early May, Neptune reaches the same point and stays there for the rest of the year.
There is a lot of powerful synastry between Putin’s chart and the Russia one.
Their Moons are in exact square (an orb of 4 minutes).
Vlad’s Sun is exactly (half a degree) square to the Russia Uranus.
And as we go through 2026 both of these connections will be seriously triggered.
In mid June, Uranus reaches 2.54 Gemini, exactly conjunct Vladimir Putin’s 8th house Moon (and square to the Russian Moon).
At the same time Saturn is exactly opposite his Sun.
In fact Saturn stations at that point throughout the summer.
Both Saturn and Uranus go back and forward across these placements up until April 2027.
All of the above means we can fairly safely say that Vlad will be impaled sometime in the next 18 months.
So Saturn and Neptune are not all doom and gloom then.
