Star Trek is the American dream, boldly going where no man has gone before, engaging with other cultures but respecting the prime directive, forbidding interference with the natural development of alien civilizations.

The American reality however is their Cancer Sun, tribal and insular with a strong us and them view of other cultures. 

While Captain James Kirk was peacefully exploring the Universe, his country was breaking every directive in Vietnam.

Sixty years later the actor who played him is still living. He certainly followed the advice of his deputy Spock to “live long and prosper”.  

His namesake may have prospered in a financial sense but he certainly didn’t live long.

We don’t have a birthtime for South Park’s Masterdebater so we can’t know which houses were tenanted.

The first thing that comes to most people’s minds is that it’s hard to connect that Sun and Moon in Libra with the notorious hate speaker.

But as I have said many times if you base your astrology on signs you are not going to be able to explain much about the world.

The key to understanding life is always to look at planetary aspects.

For Kirk, the most prominent are the Sun/Jupiter conjunction which will always deliver a strong sense of entitlement and in an Air sign, a conviction that what they are speaking is the truth and if you don’t like it, that is just tough.

This pairing is square to an exact Uranus/Neptune conjunction which adds a wilful eccentricity along with a deluded certainty that he is speaking for a whole generation.

If your chosen weapon is the spoken word, to see what type of words you would use we would naturally look to Mercury.

Mercury conjunct Mars in Scorpio square to Saturn is as good an astrological description as you’ll find of hate speech.

But the most troubling aspect of all is the Saturn/Pluto square.

Why is this significant?

Good question. After all I have dismissed the supposed importance of many of these aspects on the grounds that everyone born in the same year would have them.

This one is significant because of its tightness (an orb of 1/3 degree) but more importantly because of timing.

Why so? Pluto is not making any significant transits to any of Kirk’s placements.

Granted Saturn is opposing his Venus and this is being triggered by the upcoming Solar Eclipse, but that on its own would not be sufficient to describe the brutal end that came to Kirk just as he was trying to explain how the 5 trans people who committed acts of gun violence were more significant than the 5,000 others that did the same thing.

This is because that end was karma, the inevitable result of our thoughts and actions.

And karma works through Secondary Progressions.

Transits and progressions are totally different methods. Not only that, but they require a different conception of the birthchart.

When looking at the impact of transits we have to see the chart as a moment in time that represents us. Because we were born in that moment, we embody the qualities of it. Those qualities are best described by looking at the relationship between the planets at the time.

Transits are how other moments that occur during our lives impact on that moment and the people born at the time.

It is how “out there” affects “in here”.

They are called transits because they mark transitions. If we can understand them, they show us what the Universe requires from us to change and adjust ourselves in response to the demands of the time.

Progressions are different, they are based on seeing the chart as a moving thing rather than a moment fixed in time, hence the word progression.

The idea behind them is that this life is only one of many that we have lived and we are progressing from one to another and through this one.

It sees the chart as something that is inside us, unfolding as we move through this life.

The creation of Turning Point USA in May 2012 was aptly triggered by transit Pluto square to Kirk’s Moon.

But we can also see that it was the true love of his life and something he was destined to do because it occurred with his Progressed Venus at 21.34 Libra, exactly conjunct Kirk’s Sun.

This is not least because in 2012 he met Bill Montgomery, his mentor (a Tea Party activist) who encouraged him to do it and Foster Friess (a Republican donor) who funded Turning Point.

Intriguingly both the transit and the progression was flagged by the chart of the organisation itself.

On the day that Turning Point was formed, the Sun was exactly conjunct a retrograde Venus.

The Moon was conjunct Pluto.

If this coming together of the Sun and Venus by progression marked the meeting that would fund Kirk’s life, a much darker progression would be the one that ended it.

As I said earlier the tightest and most challenging of all the aspects in Kirk’s chart is the exact square between Saturn (23.47 Aquarius) and Pluto (24.07 Scorpio).

His progressed Sun is now conjunct his Pluto and square his Saturn.

With these things it’s always important to consider how slow progressed movement is.

Kirk’s progressed Sun could not have made another aspect to these two planets for another 90 years. So clearly this was the time for his current life to end.

When I first noticed this progression, I assumed that Kirk had been assassinated in classic US fashion by agents either working for its own government or that of Israel.

Because apart from the progression, why now?

Whenever an event of this nature happens, my political self asks who has most to gain from it?

In recent months Charlie Kirk had been pushing for the release of the Epstein files and become critical of Israel. So this narrative points to Trump and Netanyahu.

Both would seize on his assassination to further their own agenda of sending more troops onto the streets/into Gaza to avenge his death by suppressing lefties/killing innocent Palestinians.

The fact that this execution occurred on the eve of the anniversary of 9/11 adds a symbolic quality to that narrative.

Naturally any self respecting organised crime syndicate would come up with a Lee Harvey Oswald figure to put the blame on.

Although looking at the chart of the alleged killer, it does seem as if it was the act of an individual rather than a state.

I am always trying to train people to look at charts as patterns rather than focusing on individual placements.

Tyler Robinson’s chart is extreme. Again no birthtime is available so houses should be discounted.

I don’t have the time to work out what the odds are of a chart containing 3 T squares, all I know is that in 50 years of looking at them, the number that I have seen can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

Every planet apart from Uranus is involved.

The most significant one is obviously the Sun opposite Moon apex Mars (the Sun/Mars square is less than 1/2 degree).

This is without question a pattern of extreme violence.

The Libra Moon falls conjunct Charlie Kirk’s Sun so there is an important soul connection here. Robinson’s Sun and Mars’ hostile aspects to Kirk’s Sun shows its soul hate rather than mate.

Another T square involves a Saturn/Pluto opposition and an apex Venus which falls opposite Kirk’s own Venus.

The 3rd one with Jupiter opposite Neptune has an apex Mercury which falls opposite Kirk’s own Mercury/Mars conjunction.

We could definitely make a case for the coming eclipse at 29 Virgo opposing Saturn and Neptune as being the trigger for Kirk’s assassination.

Certainly his killing has helped to create the conditions for the kind of antagonistic global experience that is affecting everyone at the moment.

The eclipse falls exactly on Kirk’s Venus and opposes Robinson’s Venus forming a Grand Cross with his T Square.

But apart from that the timing of this violent act also seems to be one triggered by progression.

It goes without saying that Tyler Robinson’s T square apex Mars was the main reason for his violent execution of Charlie Kirk.

If we look at astrology in progression mode, Mars will have an even shorter journey over a lifetime than the Sun, on average about 50 degrees.

So it could not reach his Sun, or his T square apex Venus.

The most challenging aspects it could make would be to the Jupiter/Neptune/Mercury T square.

This is what has happened now.

On top of that, his progressed Moon has joined in and his progressed Mercury has retrograded back to its natal position.

What was Tyler Robinson’s motive?

No doubt the powers that be will want to find some kind of leftist, pro trans agenda. Already we are seeing a narrative that he was radicalised by left wing activists at college, which to be fair does happen to everyone doing an electrician’s apprentice course in Utah.

On the other side, connections have been made that Robinson is a groyper, a follower of Nick Fuentes and someone whose objection to Kirk was that he wasn’t right wing enough.

The facts are that he was born into a close knit Christian Republican family with a father who was a sheriff. Tyler had been brought up with the ownership of firearms being an important part of their version of their religion.

But his chart is motive enough in itself.

If we are looking to find what themes someone inherits and receives from their parents and the atmosphere between them when they are growing up, we have to look at the aspects between and involving the Sun and Moon.

With that T Square and the noon chart placing in the 4th house, I feel we are on safe territory if we put a lot of responsibility on the parents and Robinson’s upbringing.

Any chart with 3 T squares will experience a level of compulsion that would be unfathomable to most people.

This not an excuse for his actions, there can be none, but it at least helps us understand them.

Charlie Kirk, however with his Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Libra in the noon chart 10th in trine to Saturn.in Aquarius in the 2nd gives a great deal more room for choice.

With this chart, Kirk was always going to be a successful businessman.

He chose to do so by monetising hate speech.

His Sun’s progression to conjunct Pluto and square Saturn meant that he would reap what he sowed.

The Solar Eclipse at 29 Virgo is exactly opposite Saturn and Neptune, it sits on the equinoctial axis.

It contains a highly combustible energy, one of the strongest in recent times. It is a powerful trigger of these two planets and their movement into Aries.

The last time an eclipse happened with aspects to Neptune at this point in the Zodiac was June 1861 at the beginning of the American Civil War, and even that one did not have a hostile Saturn as well.

Whatever kind of polarisation occurs as a result of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, we have to conclude that the Universe wants that to happen now and is happy to sponsor it.

The Saturn/Neptune conjunction has been linked to revolution, particularly in Russia as previous ones have occurred in 1917, 1953 with the death of Stalin and 1989 with the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Over the next six months we will watch these two planets coming together again with bated breath.

Meanwhile the USA Enterprise continues on its journey – to boldly go where no man has gone before, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations …. and kick the living shit out of them.
