The opening line of a song by 1970s rockers Emerson Lake and Palmer is one of those that sticks in mind even when you really don’t want it to, so I’m glad that it has finally been put to some use.
Because Jeremy Bender has been taking his pleasure writing shit in Rupert Murdoch’s Sun.
Our birthchart shows us who we are and the natural experience of life that we will attract because of it.
Ultimately we have to acknowledge that every planet in our chart represents a part of ourselves, even if they seem to point to other people bringing the experience to us.
Oppositions are very interesting patterns in astrology, particularly when they involve such important parts of the chart as the Sun and Moon.
Most people want to identify as one consistent thing, they don’t like to admit to having split personalties or containing contradictions.
When you have an opposition between the Sun and Moon this is impossible, so the easiest way out of this quandary is to project it onto other people.

Clarkson, as chief presenter of Top Gear has always presented himself as a Sun Aries macho wannabe racing driver, a petrol head who is only interested in boys stuff and has no time for woke, girly Moon in Libra pursuits.
This opposition focuses by T Square onto an apex Saturn in Capricorn.
When both the Sun and the Moon are in square to Saturn it seems to the native that the whole world is conspiring to frustrate, limit, restrict and control him.
If the apex Saturn is in Capricorn this is likely to turn him into someone with reactionary, conventional and authoritarian view of the world, seeing his enemies represented by that Libra Moon as people that need to be dealt with very severely.

Here we have the Sun in Aries in the 2nd house ( along with Venus ) showing that Jeremy Clarkson has used his little boy playing with his toy cars to make him vast sums of money.
The problem that he has is with the 8th house Libra Moon, which is obviously sex and women in general.
Maybe its because no matter how much he insists on his macho-ness they just don’t want to give him any.
This is backed up by Mars in Pisces in the 1st house, indicating a low libido ( Mars in Pisces ) but a need to present as dominant ( Mars in 1st ).
Mars in Pisces in the 1st opposite Pluto in the 7th suggests that the only way this man is going to maintain any kind of relationship is by force and aggression.
So with the T square to an apex Saturn in the 12th, he believes that all women need to be locked up or paraded through the streets in chains and have excrement thrown at them.
Obviously he can’t actually say this about all women because his readers will see it’s all coming from his own sexual inadequacy, so he just says it about one in particular.
With her own Moon in Libra and conjunct Clarkson’s own, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex personifies everything that he hates about the opposite sex.
Meghan’s Moon is in close conjunction with both Jupiter and Saturn, indicating her own achievement in falling in love with and marrying a prince ( Moon / Jupiter ) and it causing her tremendous suffering ( Moon / Saturn ).

One very significant placing in Meghan’s chart is that Pluto in the 4th house. This being in square to her Cancer Ascendant shows the massive upheaval that has always been part of her own family life and the same theme carrying on for her role in her husband’s family.
Meghan’s Pluto has been a chief factor in all the vitriol that she has been receiving over the last few years since Pluto opposed her Ascendant at the beginning of 2020.
And her natal Pluto is exactly opposite Jeremy Clarkson’s Sun.
So it’s no wonder that she is such a powerful influence on his subconscious that he wants to see her naked and throw shit at her.
The last few years have been seriously Plutonic for Clarkson. It was in his T Square between 2013 and 2019.
This coincided with him being sacked from Top Gear for throwing a punch at one of the producers and putting him in hospital while calling him ” a lazy Irish cunt “, starting an alternative version of the program with Amazon, getting pneumonia and becoming the presenter on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
This latest outburst has coincided with transit Neptune conjunct Clarkson’s Mercury and Pluto conjunct his 3.50 am Ascendant.
What next for Jeremy Clarkson ?
Jupiter will be conjunct his Venus and then his Sun in April so its unlikely that his offensive outburst will cause him too much serious regret for a while.
But from May 2023 until February 2024 Saturn will be conjunct his Pisces Mars and this should cause some trouble. If Clarkson thinks other people frustrate and control him already, he’s in for some serious shit then.
Maybe the best advice for Clarkson on how to negotiate this transit is the rest of the verse from ELP about Jeremy Bender.
