For a good few years now I have come to realise that the articles on my site write themselves. I have no role other than to receive them from the source and convert them into type.
This week a TV expose of the last Australian government (a Coalition of God Botherers and Racist Bogans) has revealed many things that most of the down under wokerati knew already. One of the many gems to emerge is a quote from that stable genius of the Southern hemisphere, former Deputy Prime Minister, Barnaby Joyce.
To much hilarity from aforementioned wokerati, Joyce has informed us all that the human brain has three quadrants, social, sporting and academic.
Astrology is the simplest way to uncover the mysteries of the Universe, and having forgotten the finer details of Barnaby’s chart, I felt sufficiently moved to look it up again to see if it was possible to locate the fourth one.
And there we have it, the totally vacant 4th quadrant.
There is a way of looking at astrology that says the signs and houses begin with the simplest form of expression in Aries and the 1st to evolve to the most complex in Pisces and the 12th.
This might seem a bit harsh if you have major placements in the first sign and house. Harsh, but in the case of Barnaby Joyce, undeniably true.
On that basis, someone with an Ascendant of 0.06 Aries would be a real primitive, even by Age of Aries, Iron Age standards.
It’s interesting that Joyce’s Aries 1st house stellium includes a rising Mercury/Saturn conjunction, which would be best described as offering the kind of insight last seen by the Gumbys (a group of middle aged men who are always seen with a knotted hankie on their heads, clenching their fists and yelling that their brain hurts) of Monty Python fame.
Readers not familiar with Australian politics and its “characters” might like to contemplate a cross between Liz Truss (who also has a Mercury/Saturn conjunction) and TV Scarecrow Worzel Gummidge (who has the opposition).
Like the Gumbys, Barnaby Joyce also has a headgear of choice, the Akubra hat, which is supposedly a symbol of national pride, but like most these days are principally worn by arseholes who are trying to claim that their own ignorance and narrow mindedness are the true Australian values.
In classic Aries rising style, Joyce also has an extremely red complexion, a fact that has caused him to be named Beetroot.
This simple minded soul also has the Sun in Aries in the 1st house opposite Mars. Owing to the orbit of Mars relative to the Earth, the Sun / Mars opposition is quite an unusual aspect, but it certainly is a very aggressive and combative one, particularly when it is as tight as Joyce’s.
This opposition focuses by T Square onto a planet in Cancer in the 4th house.
Ordinarily this would paint the picture of an archetypal bogan figure who is prone to getting into fights around the sheep dip.
However, the apex planet is Jupiter, so the net effect is that Barnaby Joyce gets propelled by the support of other such figures to become leader of the National Party and the 2nd most powerful man in Australia.
Part of this journey, in true Sun in 1st house opposite Mars in 7th style, required him to dump his wife and four children in order to shack up with some bimbo whose chief skill seem to be using a leg over to get a leg up the political greasy pole.
But I digress. As we can see from Joyce’s chart the 4th quadrant is entirely empty. In fact the final third of the chart is vacant.
And it’s this third, both from the perspective of sign and house that offers the possibility of understanding, beginning with the 9th house of philosophy, religion and higher education and ending with the 12th house of recognising and accepting your place in the Universal scheme of things.
As we can see from the chart, Barnaby Joyce is completely untroubled by such matters, so is able to focus purely on the social (screwing his mistress), the sporting (fighting with everyone else) and the academic (counting all his money).
As luck (and Jupiter would have it), Barnaby’s boss and numero uno in the rapture/racist coalition also only had three parts to his brain.
An empty final three signs and houses gives Scott Morrison as much exposure to the totality of human thinking as Barnaby Joyce, but the Moon/Neptune conjunction in Scorpio in the 9th house gives him a religious conviction that his own personal route to heaven requires him to do everything he can to make sure he leaves behind a hell on earth.
So we have the nightmare team of Scummo and Dummo.
It goes without saying that both men have a T Square apex Jupiter.
Thus ensuring that there would be plentiful supply of people even more stupid in order to vote for them.
