Since the New Year, I have been busier with clients work than I’ve ever been. This is why I haven’t written an article on Charles since congratulating him on finally landing the top job – Enjoy The Salutations – They Won’t Last For Long.
As the recent Full Moon fell on his Ascendant and he went into hospital with an enlarged prostate, I meant to post something reminding the world that these things will always trigger the larger transits happening underneath.
This morning as I was on my beach walk, I reached the spot where revelations usually come to me and I was hit with a powerful need to write a new article about Charles and what this meant in the context of his upcoming Pluto and Uranus transits.
I was formulating it in my head as I returned home and found out that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
So the imperative to put this article out is even stronger but now I have to sound more sympathetic.
Which is tricky when you are talking about someone who owns property worth £ 2.5 billion but has never done a stroke of work to get it beyond being wheeled out occasionally to shake the odd hand or cut the odd ribbon. Someone who inherited everything and the only thing that could be described as work was done by his Mum until he was in his mid 70s.
Someone who has his toothpaste squeezed for him and has his minions carry around his own toilet seat so that he doesn’t have to crap where anyone else might have.
Someone who was married to one of the world’s supposedly most beautiful women but dumped her for an old hag who presumably indulges his weird bedroom habits.
Someone who has sycophants praising his name constantly in the press and has people fawning over him wherever he goes. And despite all of this goes around with a face like a slapped arse and complains about his station in life, because his mum lived too long.
But astrology shows us that we all have a role to play and despite all of this I can manage to find some compassion for someone who has a Scorpio Sun in the 4th house square a rising Pluto.

One of the first articles I wrote for this website was Charles And Diana – A Match Made In Heaven? I will quote from it –
“Prince Charles has the Sun in Scorpio, a placing that would suggest an emotional and passionate man. His Sun ( in gold in the chart ) is in the 4th house at the bottom of the chart together with Mercury, Venus and Neptune. This combination shows someone with great depth of character but much of this would not be seen on the surface or recognised by everyone. The 4th house is the area of family and home the major theme of his life is his inheritance and the issues that arise from that.
Looking at the chart it’s easy to get the impression that it is dominated by the Moon in Taurus at the top in the 10th house. The Moon in a chart has rulership over the relationship with the mother. It is at 0 degrees of Taurus, exactly the same degree as the Queen’s Sun, so there is no doubt who the Moon is referring to.
Charles has a Leo Ascendant. In Astrology the Sun rules the individuality, the essence of the person, the Moon rules the emotional make up and responses and the Ascendant rules the way that they have to project themselves and appear to other people. With the Sun in Scorpio in the 4th, Charles is an essentially private person who has to appear ( Leo rising ) as the future king. Mercury in Scorpio in the 4th is in opposition to the Moon and the tension created by these two pulling in opposite directions is projected onto the Leo Ascendant. That his life would be dominated by these issues is clearly shown in the chart.”
But in many ways the most important aspect in his chart is the square from the Sun to a 1st house Pluto, because it’s the transits of his Sun ruler that would really define the major turning points.
Just when life seemed to be giving Charles what he always wanted, Pluto’s transit blew it all away again.
Anyone that can remember the late 80s/early 90s or even watched The Crown will remember that there was a newspaper poll that said most people wanted the Queen to abdicate in favour of Charles.
It has to be said that this state of affairs had nothing to do with him, it was simply that the public wanted his wife to be the Queen.
It was just at this point when Pluto hit, conjunct his Sun in 1992, when the world learnt all about Camilla and Charles’ chance of getting the top job went from about 60% to zero overnight.
It’s in the nature of Pluto to hit hard and then leave its prey for a whole generation before it comes back for another go.
But this current sweep of the scythe could be even more final than that earlier one.
Because although 1992 was the Sun, it was a conjunction.
And this one hits his Moon and Ascendant in close succession by square and opposition.
Pluto first came to square his Moon last year when he was crowned. But this was just the first act of the drama. .
His hospitalisation for an enlarged prostate came with Pluto exactly square to his Moon again. So just as in 1992, when he finally got the dream job over 30 years later, Pluto looks to be in the process of taking it away from him.
His hospital stay was also triggered by the Full Moon at 5 Aquarius/Leo. Note that this Full Moon falls exactly on his Ascendant.
I always make a point of saying that Full Moons and eclipses will act as triggers of the energies associated with slower moving transits and I revealed on Facebook that this one would give an early flag to anyone with major placements on those degrees of what to expect once Pluto reaches them.
Pluto will oppose Charles’ Ascendant between 2026 and 27. This will either mark the end of his life or the end of his reign and a transition of power to William.
Not least because this transit is not just happening to him.

His queen also has 5 degrees of Leo rising. And Pluto in the 1st house, but for her it’s conjunct Saturn.
The transit of Pluto to Camilla’s Descendant is now looking awfully like the loss of her soulmate.
Camilla has an exact Moon/Venus conjunction in the 12th house in trine to Neptune, which certainly fits for a relationship that had to be kept secret for many years but also the scandal that occurred when it broke.
When she first met Charles, her progressed Venus was sextile that Neptune and semi sextile her Moon/Venus.
Camilla now has the Progressed Sun conjunct Neptune.
Over the next 4 years it will be square to her Moon and Venus.
Together with the Pluto transit, this is not looking good for hubby.
Charles current predicament is not just down to Pluto. Uranus is opposite his Sun, which changes things for him for sure. But not just him.

Harry’s problems with his family have been well documented here – What’s Next On Harry’s Bucket List?
Astrology is very simple, there’s no need to complicate it. Harry’s Bucket handle 4th house Moon is exactly opposite Charles 4th house Sun.
Uranus’ first conjunction with Harry’s Moon has certainly created more distance between them. But Uranus is full of surprises, so maybe its return to his Moon over the next 3 months will see Charles’ health scare bringing them back closer together, particularly considering that Jupiter comes with it.
His brother has his own Uranus transits.

Uranus is about to hit William’s Venus. This is a 5th house placement rather than 4th house so my feeling is that it has more to do with Kate and Rose than his father.
But as I wrote just last week, William has some massive transits coming up over the next few years – see Neptune – The Prince Of Beached Whales
Both Neptune and Saturn will be square to his 7th house Sun and Moon over the next few years, and while that is most likely to precipitate a divorce, his Sun is exactly trine Jupiter right on the Midheaven, so this combo hitting a Cancer Sun and Moon could equally cover the loss of his father and his own coronation, under very difficult circumstances.
Either way things are not looking good for Charles. The newspapers are full of optimism and praise for the same NHS that they are colluding with the Tories to try and dismantle.
Pluto will have other plans though.
Readers will know that I am no monarchist. I feel that we should have all outgrown the need for these characters but when you see their astrology, it is also possible to feel some sympathy.
As an astrologer, its always important to try and look on the bright side of things and to give your client advice on how best to approach any upcoming transit.
Pluto heading to oppose your Ascendant when you’ve already been diagnosed with cancer is not a good look for the physical body.
But from a soul’s perspective, it does put Charles one step closer to his dream of being reincarnated as a tampon.
