The Precession of the Equinoxes is as interesting challenge for astrologers.
For a large part of the world it is ignored completely and they stick to a Zodiac that existed 2000 years ago.
The rest of us struggle along with the astrological concept of the Great Year of 26,000 odd years which is naturally divided into 12 equal segments.
Because our own lifespan is restricted to a mere 5 % of one of these eras it is difficult for us to conceive of the astrological qualities of another one.
We know we are about to move into the Age of Aquarius because of TV, computers and robots etc.
And the Age of Pisces was all about Jesus.
So we assume that Moses was a similar representative of the Aries period, mainly because of burning bushes.
I can’t honestly bring myself to go along with this reducing a great teacher’s life and achievement into one relatively minor incident to fit some hippy astrologer’s new age narrative.
Really Moses greatest feat would have to be parting the Red Sea, walking through it and closing the waters on the heads of the pursuing Egyptian army.
That sounds like some kind of Piscean analogy.
But my favourite is Capricorn.
What other sign would wander around in the desert for 40 years in search of the promised land and climb up the largest mountain just simply to come back down and tell all his followers to stop partying and obey these laws “ what I’ve just been given “.
Maybe Moses chart is a combination of all three signs.
The only problem is no-one has the faintest idea when he was born or even if he actually existed at all.
One astrologer has taken and run with the idea that led me to discover the chart of Jesus. This was based on my understanding that the star which led astrologers to discover his birthplace in Bethlehem had to be the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Pisces in September 7 BC, these two giants coming so close together that they would appear as one. For more on this see – Is This The Birthchart Of Jesus Christ ?
On this basis, this person has suggested the birth of Moses to coincide with a similar event, a Great Conjunction of the same planets but this time in Aries ( obviously because Moses was the avatar for that Age ).

In the years 1535 – 6 BC there were 3 Jupiter / Saturn conjunctions. I have chosen the last one because it fits nicely with my own Capricorn narrative for Moses.
The New Moon at the solstice in opposition to Neptune focusing onto a rising Jupiter / Saturn at the apex of the chart is a very powerful spiritual teacher’s nativity.
Other suggestions were the year 1391 BC. The main thing occurring that year was an opposition between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Leo which doesn’t really fit the Moses vibe.
Another offering was the year 1592 BC which brings together Uranus and Pluto in late Pisces.
But I have my own favourite authority on matters of timing for the great unknown events of yesteryear.
James Ussher was a prolific scholar and also the Irish Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland in the mid 17th century. He is most famous for dating the start of creation to 6 pm on 22nd October 4004 BC. It was a Saturday evening, naturally so the Almighty could put his feet up the following day.
Readers might scoff at using this guy as an authority given that his previous choice was famous only for being several billion years out.
But as a symbolic astrological picture of the birth of the Earth the chart for that exact moment is by some distance the most beautiful that I have ever seen, so I have grown to love it. For more on this and the chart itself see The World Was Created On October 22nd 4004 BC – Nice Day For It !
So I have decided to look into Ussher’s proposed year of 1571 BC for Moses.
A key factor throughout 1571 was the conjunction of Neptune and Pluto in Aries, which very nicely takes care of the Age thing, in a way that is even more potent than the Jupiter / Saturn one of 1535.
And there is one date early on in that year that feels just perfect.

We have the Capricorn, Pisces, Aries combination referred to earlier but I also think this chart goes into more detail about the themes that we all know about Moses’ life.
The Sun / Saturn conjunction in Capricorn points to the mountain climbing to bring back tablets of stone and the party pooping.
It also references early difficulties in life such as being put in a river by your Mum as a baby.
However someone that generally does pretty well around water – Red Sea control and said basket being found by Egyptian queen has to be that tight Moon / Jupiter conjunction in Pisces.
The whole conundrum between staying as an Egyptian prince or leading his own people to the promised land is neatly summed up by the square between the Sun / Saturn in Capricorn in the 10th and the Aries Ascendant.
And God speaking to you by gratuitously and suddenly starting a bush fire ? That has to be Neptune conjunct Pluto on an Aries Ascendant surely.
So here we have it then, another ancient mystery solved.
You could say the truth has just been Usshered in.
